Ok I decided to give Wow another chance. I stopped playing a year ago because Shadowlands was absolutely awful. I honestly think the new race looks pretty cool. Does anyone know if you are able to create a Dracthyr toon right now/ if anyone has played Dragonflight–how is it?

You won’t be able to play Dracthyr until DF release due to how they have a special starting zone on DF isles.

Anything different with dungeons? I never really got into pvp but I used to grind a lot of m+. Stopped in shadowlands because it was god awful.
We don’t know yet. It’s in early alpha.

Kind of? But you might not like it. There’s going to be 8 dungeons, but only 4 of the DF dungeons will be active for M+ and 4 other older dungeons will be chosen, yes that means one day a shadowlands dungeon or BFA dungeon you hated will be part of M+ season. Then next season, other 4 DF dungeons activate+4 other random old dungeons.

They stated in an interview that evokers will be available in pre patch just like DHs were available in legion pre patch

Pre patch is a very short period thought. Practically part of the expansion.
You aren’t able to play with one in game yet, but you can mess around with their customizations they have over on the Beta Wowhead Dressing Room.

Based on the weekly roadmap they posted for alpha l figured if they hold to those targets alpha should wrap around august 23rd. After all even if beta started tomorrow I think it would still be one of the shortest ones in the game’s history. Unless they give up on that 2022 release goal.
Didn’t they say there would be a system for the Dragonflight aspects?

Plaguefall will make a return one day in the future most likely but they are trying to work on MOP/pandaria dungeons right now.

I’ve had the opportunity of playing the Evoker on Alpha. So far there has been very little content released as it’s only in phase 2 of Alpha, but I’ve gotten through the Azure Span zone, the Dracthyr starting zone experience in the Forbidden Reach and got try out two of the new dungeons. The class is really fun, has lots of mobility and lots of burst damage.
The customization options for them are through the roof, tons to choose from.
The soar Dragonriding ability is very fun to use as well.
The only thing that’s taking me a little bit of getting used to is the 25 yard range of being able to cast spells, I’m so used to casters having up to 40 yards. However, since they do have so much mobility, I can understand why.
They will be unlocking a new zone and other things on Alpha tomorrow for phase three.
