Well i can say I’m actually excited For the first time since legion for a new xpac. I love the high fantasy so much more than cosmic stuff. I also love the new talent tree system. I’ll be playing a ton of alts simply to play with different builds. Thr One amazing thing in shadowlands is trying all the different builds with the different leggos. Sure there’s what’s meta. But playing off the meta in wrath was just fun.
Glad to see certain things changing and im excited.
The Dracthyr visage form is the laziest, crappiest way to implement a new race. You don’t claim “new race” and then reuse old models that make zero sense with their lore, while giving them new heads with duck lips.
The visage forms need to be a unique body model. They’re an amalgamation of Troll, Tauren, Nelf and primitive humans. Literally nowhere does that equate to a modern female human body and male Belf body with new heads. It’s like getting an old Barbie doll, ripping off the head and putting a new head on it from a different doll.
This in and of itself turned me off from the expansion, because of the sheer laziness of it. That shows me they’re going to cut corners as much as possible.
I have zero interest in dracthyr so that’s ok. I think a dragon race and class won’t fit well anyways. I knew when i heard about a dragon race and class blizz would. Have NO idea how to create it because al dragons in wow are super goofy. So even at best it would still Look goofy
I’m ambivalent about it. I’m afraid dragon riding will be a gimmicky mess and I’m not interested in playing a mini game in order the play my main game.
