Dragonflight wont be good until constant class tuning

For just a second you would think they were gonna do thorough class tuning especially since they added loads of new talents abilities etc, But instead we got like 2 tuning rounds and now its back to radio silence until next patch

Almost like there were major holidays from which some businesses are only just returning. Strange how their weekly tuning patches ceased right in time for those.

Pretty much expected this would happen.

I’m still flabbergasted they buffed spriest damage in PvE and didn’t pre-tune those to not work in PvP. This pretty much set the tone of upcoming changes in my mind.

They could apply zero tuning for the rest of the expansion and it’s already better than every expac I’ve played in a long time with how easy leveling and gearing are, plus the non-existence of random chores in order to play the game.

Dragonflight is a homerun.

What you pygmys fail to understand is that no matter how much, what you refer to as "tuning, Blizzard does or doesn’t do, the game will always feel the way it’s always felt.

As long as something is marginally better than something else, which will ALWAYS be the case, you’re going to see the majority of players playing it and it’s going to feel unfun / boring / unfair.

Wizards complaining about melee is always going to happen because it never feels good.

Cleaves complaining about leaving the pillar and instantly dying to wizards is always going to happen because it doesn’t feel good.

You should be scared when you enter the arena. You should feel like you could lose any game at any time if you don’t play out of your mind.

Are things dumb at times of course they are but if you honestly think there is some form of holy grail “tuning” that will make that go away you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the game you’re playing.

They could nerf shadow priests tomorrow and all that would happen is those career rerolls would move on to the next thing that is dumb and you’d still hate your life

Remember when you guys complained about Fury Warriors all of Season 3-4 of SL?

Well you got what they want, class nerfed and now they’re all playing DH’s

^^^ This is the never ending cycle that you guys somehow fail to realize exists

Tuning / lack thereof never has and never will be the problem with WoW arena

It’s that players will (can’t blame them for it) always find the thing that makes the most sense / is the most fun to play (generally the thing that is the most broken). As long as this phenomenon exists WoW will always feel the way it feels and no amount of tuning will ever change that.

Imagine being a billion dollar company that is paid very well, going afk. Sounds like a govt job to me. In law enforcement and health care we work every day of the week.

quite easy to see that there was no communication between the teams who did class designs, because you have some classes absolutely stacked with others lacking in tools.

Law enforcement get paid vacations whenever they murder an unarmed civilian in this country.

Welp there goes this thread…

I can tell you have never been in law enforcement.

You can always find the ones who never had a job outside of lemonaid stand, they think every law enforcement person is bad. Lol, but they seem to never look at the reflection in their own mirror. Maybe they just dont have a mirror in their house, i guess.

They do not do anythin with Arena in mind. They never have and never will.

Every design decision they make is with PvE in mind, after which they turn the pvp modifier knobs as they feel appropriate.

Their philosophy with Dragonflight seemed to largely be “f it, give them everything” but it for sure seems like some classes are just way more stacked in that regard to others

bare minimum mop wod and legion would disagree.

what does this have to do with how some classes are lacking and others are spoiled for design choice?

nobody was working last week man relax

wait till thursday/friday to make judgements

Why would they not be working for a whole week?

Because holidays.

So holidays give you week or two off, just because holidays? Sounds like smokers who want breaks every 5 min…

If you put out a product around the holidays, you should be prepared for working it. Shut down Christmas eve and Day, but thats it. Its retail, this is a retail company. Not Congress
