Soo, has anyone else noticed/talked bout this? November the 28th is a Monday. Has an expansion ever come out on a Monday? Or am I missing something? Does the game go down November 28th and Dragonflight will be up 29th at 3. I am just shocked to find out the 28th is a Monday. Anyone have a possible explanation. I just assumed it would be a Tuesday since everything is always on Tuesday

All of them on Tuesday except WOTLK and WOD which were Thursday…and then…SL was Monday…and DL will be Monday, oh no.

Well, they probably want to make sure as many people are at work/school as possible for a less hectic launch.
Little did they prepare for all the people of the future, ready to angrily type on the forums about how they took the day off and it ruined their entire gaming life.

They did the same thing with the past expansions. This is so it releases worldwide all at the same time.
So did BFA, I believe that’s when they started the global launch idea.
Yeah it’s more or less the same as SL – release at midnight on Tuesday, Europe time, which is late Monday evening in UK, Monday dinner in US East, Monday afternoon in US West, and Tuesday morning in Asia/Australia.

No expansion has ever been worth playing on day 1 anyway.
that’s when people go back to work , usually monday’s , is it different at your country ?
It lessens disruption by giving them a chance to fix first day glitches during an expected maintenance period. I’d have thought this would be popular as reaction to maintenance outside of normal times tends to be very negative.
Only Blizzard would launch a new expansion right before maintenance day.
The outrage it will cause when people feel held back by patch day will be unreal.
don’t forget to take the day off so you can play hard until the servers crash anyway.
That is so they can have a long Maintenance day on Tuesday when all the problems surface.
