I’m trying to make a mog from dragonflight but it needs two Sparks and with Dragonflight over, all the activities that gave sparks seem to be gone too. Am I just F’d out of these mogs now?
There is a weekly quest next to the fountain in Valdrakken called “Last Hurrah”. You should still get them rewarded from that.
Ah. There is no way to get them and combine them because you can’t get Flightstones it appears. If you never progressed through DF or completed the Maiden of Innovation quest, that might still reward a season 1 DF whole spark. You can get sparks from Dawn of the Infinite, but still, no Flightstones.
The Last Hurrah weeklies disappear after lvl 70 or 71 unfortunately, but the caches of awakened dreams from the awakened activities can still give you catch-up spark of dreams. I did them today for shots at transmog on my DK (just missing the chest…) and had two splintered sparks of awakening when I went back to Dornogal.
This week is Amirdrassil, the third in the cycle.

Do you still get Flightstones from activities? Unless something changed, you needed those to combine spark fragments like you need Valorstones to do the same in TWW.
I believe Blizzard made a change at some point in TWW where you no longer needed flightstones to combine season 3 / 4 spark fragments. Like how you don’t need valor stones for TWW S1 fragments if you still have them.
As for farming DF S4 spark fragments, I find spamming Dawn of the Infinite gives a lot until you reach the cap (heroic mode has no lockout for some reason. So you can just spam that). You can also do things like VotI and Aberrus for S1 and S2 sparks respectively iirc.

I went there on the alt im trying to craft with and I only got 1 splinter from doing the 1500 rep unfortunately. I ended up going onto an old hunter to do the ingenuity engine quests

Ah, right. Went back to my DK and I can’t create a whole spark of dreams.
I can make a whole spark of shadowflame, though, since the flightstone requirement on them was retired after DF s2. So maybe if you farm s2 activities on an off-awakened week you could get some that way.
S2 (Zaralek Caverns stuff + the suffusion camps) was awakened last week but isn’t this week. I’m not -positive- what events might award shadowflame sparks, but they can at least still be combined without flightstones.
As recently as a few weeks ago I ran Dawn of the Infinite and received four sparks. I was able to combine them just fine. The flightstone cost is gone.
