Dragonflight Season 4 Content Update Notes

that also is still proving my point, that is the highest keys. 30 throne, 31 eb, 34 ad, etc etc those are the highest. 2 key lvl gap or more is auto disproving what you said

You mean on the last week of the season? On the easiest affix week? With the easiest bosses, ya not an outlier at all and by like 30 seconds from missing it… Ya that 1 key means VDH are busted, clearly has nothing to with with the group comp either… but eh.

you’re really just are stretching to make it not seem llike whats happening is happening. i can tell you even as a healer healing those said tanks it is vastly different and vastly obvious which ones are struggling… and im not even getting into the broken amount of stops vdh has…

VDH is a but much but this is really over selling it.

There is 1 single timed +34.

There are only 5 total timed +33s.

Only 2 teams in the would have timed a +33 and only managed it 5 times total between them in the entire season.

For all intents and purposes a +32 is the season cap.

I really, really don’t think these nerfs are going to impact the specs getting the nerfs in any meaningful way. Especially since the most major nerf (MW) was just absolutely overperforming.

Just. Looking at logs, any healer hitting 40-100 parse is generally somewhere in a 30%-50% overheal range. Even among the ‘worse’ healers this patch like Hpal, Prevoker and Rsham. Idk, I just feel like the screeching reaction to over-performing HPS Parse Monkeys being nerfed is unwarranted. When only 50-70% of overall healing is ever effective, the whole thing is probably good be fine.

So why are they bi-weekly for the first six weeks, and then all active after? That doesn’t make much sense honestly, I would have thought the previous version we had was just fine where they rotated week to week. Then all become active after a certain number of weeks with the option to toggle the affixes off and scale the raid down for those that simply want to steam roll it for mounts.

The best thing though is definitely not having a cap on bullions, although 2 weeks per item is a bit stiff honestly. Yet it will go a long way in helping with gearing!

Genuinely what is the point of this patch. There’s no seasonal affix, no new dungeons, no new dungeon revamps, no new experimental gameplay, no raid affix, and actively preventing people from turning off Awakened in June.

Who does this help. Who is this fun for. Erase this season 4.

We are looking good in War Within!

If you check out some logs across N-H raid and logged keys 20-30, I think you’d be surprised at how common 30-50 is across the board.

And sure, hitting 150kHPS in OH in M+ or 250k HPS in OH for Raid are “uncommon” in the sense that those are numbers when you’re doing Mythic raid or pushpush Keys.

But…it’s also why I used such a large range for raid. Because it does happen. The top healing parse in the world for M Volc has something like 280k HPS OH. Not even being sarcastic, lol. You will definitely always hit over 100k HPS OH in M Raid.

Heroic doesn’t have the damage output → group to create such juicy numbers.

And just taking a look at my monk’s best logged dungeon…104k HPS OH for a 22 Throne. 45% OH overall! Pretty attainable ranges for average players

Will the vault each week drop items equivalent of the awakened raid ilvl? Also will it only drop items from the awakened raid that week or any raid you ran?

wait im confused. are raids rotating every other week or week?

Two weeks of fated Vault, normal other two
Then two weeks of fated Aberrus, normal other two
Then two weeks of fated Amirdrassil, normal other two
Then everything is open, all raids are Fated, no more normals.

Or closed, if you were hoping to farm mounts.

I think they have scrapped that. Clicking the link to read the full article now says

Every week during Dragonflight Season 4, one of the three Dragonflight raids will become Awakened: Vault of the Incarnates; Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible; or Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope. Enemies within Awakened raids are stronger and drop upgraded loot with a higher item level.

Instead of the whole “X raid for two weeks, then Y for two weeks then Z for two weeks then X,Y,Z are awakened until season is over”

We’ve made a couple updates to the Season 4 content update notes:

  • Awakened raids will rotate weekly, instead of every two weeks.
    • Developer’s note: In an effort to ensure players have variety week over week we are adjusting the schedule of our Awakened raids to rotate weekly.
  • Earn 1 Antique Bronze Bullion a week per character by defeating Awakened bosses, with the cap rising by 1 each week. Note that if you miss a week, you’ll be able to catch up to the current weekly max.
  • Revival Catalyst charges have been reset to 1. One charge is earned each week (was every 2 weeks).

Can we turn Awakened off and do the raids as they are, right now?

That’s all Mythic prog guilds have ever wanted from season 4 (in Shadowlands, and now) - the ability to do the raids in their current forms.

We just want the mounts. We got Cutting Edge for 24 people, but only have 4 mounts. That’s another 10 Fyrrak kills to go, and we don’t want to have to re-prog the raid we just progged all over again to do it.

Please just let us turn Awakened OFF and do the raids as they are now. For the whole season.

Thanks.

Other two specs look great. That’s pretty good options

People still raid in this game? I thought it went the way of pvp by now.

You’re obviously just the messenger so I’m not blaming you at all, but the fact that Blizzard is changing this as quickly as they are is not making me too confident in this season.

Do we have the option to make the raids un-Fated? I’d really, really like to farm non-Fated Mythic Fyrakk with Fated gear to more reliably get that mount and if the plans are to make everything Fated after week 6 that’s going to make this an insanely annoying task to accomplish even for pretty good guilds.

I don’t understand the point of increasing the cap past 2. Players will hold dinars, then after week 2 spend on an item, back to zero. The next week, they either get a xmog item or they save it for their next item, and back to zero again.

I guess the Slime Cat is the only reason to hold onto more than 2 dinars.
Also, its bold of you all to think players are going to be clearing raids week after week to collect a single dinar, once MoP: Remix launches.

I actually thought the 2 week rotation was a good pace. Weekly seems a bit rushed
