All of you who are playing devil’s advocate, putting on your big old glasses and going “OH WELL TECHNICALLY THERE ARE 8 NEW DUNGEONS” are so sad. Are you going to do any of those dungeons in season 1? No? That’s what I thought.
Everyone with half a brain who read my post knows I meant M+ rotation in season 1. Give it up.
Or keep the pitchforks out because not putting half of them in rotation at the start of an expansion is insane and none of us want to do old dungeons at the launch of a new expansion.
Wow. Such a valuable and meaningful addition to this conversation about a valid complaint for season 1 of M+. Thankyou so much for spending your clearly very limited brainpower on a thoughtful response!
if you think about it M+ is all about doing old dungeons
The problem is, some people don’t agree with you.
Can you submit your solution/ compromise? You just want all 8 new dungeons in the M+ rotation at the start … and we run all 8 for two years? Only in the later season to introduce “new” dungeons into the rotation (those being the actual “old” dungeons)? Like was done in SL?
Even better, are you one of those suggesting Blizzard should have 8 new dungeons for M+ for two seasons, and then 8 MORE new dungeons for the last two seasons?
What is your solution/ compromise?
If you’d read, I offered one lower in the post. Also, being a bit hyperbolic aren’t you? Does anyone actually expect anything more than a new mega dungeon mid-expansion anymore?
Considering no matter when a tier ends their will be guilds who just missed getting their kills, how long do you feel a raid tier should last?
I think 3 tiers over 24 months is fine. Black Temple length. What Blizzard needs to do is sprinkle additional content releases between the raids, though. Lumping everything all together just wastes content because nobody has the time to do everything when it gets dumped all at once (see: Tazzavesh).
a lot of people miss this option. can’t see the forest for the trees. it’s quite interesting that such a simple solution can come to the rescue of many.
easy.
So my first response detailed how you seem oblivious to the fact people disagree with you. Yours isn’t the only opinion.
You then follow up with this gem, riding the presumption that “everyone just expects a mega-dungon.” Which, again, is just your rather narrow opinion pretending to be EVERYONE’S opinion.
Just to keep with the theme here: I don’t “just expect a mega-dungeon.” I’ve been as outspoken as I can be about they’re stupid and bad for the game.
And I don’t see how my previous post, simply trying to engage you for IDEAS instead of just ranting is … “hyperbolic.”
That’s my clue to exit this thread. +waves+
Cya. And yea, you’re being hyperbolic.
Will the players that do not subscribe to your ‘seasons’ get an update on upcoming events as well? Perhaps some new holiday events, based on real dates or Azerothian events? Maybe some dynamic events?
Everyone upvote ^^^ this guy’s comment please
Yeah, new is supposed to mean NEW
If they want to “experiment” with mixing in old dungeons, that kind of thing can (and should) wait until later on down the road… not launch where it somewhat breaks/“waters down” the immersion of a brand-new expansion
I think the first season should always be new dungeons for M+. The devs have just gotten very lazy and don’t care anymore. Yes i know a lot goes into making a new xpac but they have millions in resources to get stuff done but yet cant seem to give us new M+ content at release.
Its not like the xpac was a surprise to them… Its been in the works for years So to reuse old content the FIRST season of a new xpac is just pure laziness.
We use to get 10+ dungeons at the start (i realize this was years ago but still) it started to decrease till we are left at what we have now.
Either get more devs or better devs that aren’t burnt out and lazy. Guess replacing Ion would also help the issue as he has no foresight.
There are reasons but you won’t register them as good reasons. It’s so prog raiders don’t feel the pressure to do LFR for a BIS item with proc or stats. I’m 100% fine with it because LFR is tourist mode anyway and I already have to do M+ as a raider to gear up faster.
Truer words have never been stated.
Still hating on the filthy casual players and solo players. As always. Why do you hate casual and solo players so much?
So…
Basically two weeks to gear up…
Yes?
“Dragonflight Season 1 will feature a new dungeon rotation for Mythic+. Four dungeons from Dragonflight are included, and four returning dungeons from previous expansions.”
Laziest design ever. We just keep getting less and less each expansion. We have waited for new content and you give us old dungeons.
