I cannot wait to experience the revamp experience and I hope the revamp experience will flow so much better. And not just better but so much more fun and relaxing and less grinding for xp and stuff.
And I hope that in the revamp the story will flow so much better and get to the level that is needed to move on to the next content.
There are still certain moments in other expansion zones that give massive chunks of Exp like Legion and BFA assaults. At 49 pop the last Draught of Ten Lands then burn through BFA boat quests, you’ll go from 49 to 60 in about 30 minutes. At 60 get Shadowlands Threads of Fate.
Oh nice, I didn’t realize they were revamping the questing experience for Dragonflight. I will say, getting to Valdraken at the end of the campaign only to not receive any more campaign quests was pretty jarring. It took me a while to figure out where the rest of the campaign was supposed to be, even though apparently I didn’t have any more chapters to complete (I think there were only five chapters?).
Another thing that felt off was doing quests seemingly out of order, either according to canon or the patch release cycle, I guess. There’s this one campaign quest that kicks off the whole Iridikron vengeance arc, and I hadn’t even defeated Raszageth or even knew where she was. Somehow, I ended up doing the Dawn of the Infinite dungeon before all that, and I had no idea why Nozdormu was going to be corrupted.
So needless to say, after the chapter campaigns ended, I was confused about what the narratively correct order was and just generally confused overall. I eventually figured it all out, but I guess it’s a bit of a shame the questing didn’t flow as well as it could have. I should mention I’m a new player, so I imagine it wasn’t like this when Dragonflight originally released and its patches came out in order.
In the revamp story mode for all the raids will be made available. And all of this is coming in this upcoming patch after this current update.
I like the sound of that! Had I known about it, I probably would’ve just waited to play through Dragonflight. Even though I’m level 80, I’m still working my way through the campaign — the part that takes place after the main story. I don’t think I have the energy to go through it all again, even if it’s more streamlined lol.
