Dragonflight red flag

Say what you want about Shadowlands but the leveling experience and the introduction to the covenants was amazing. Shadowlands first month was pretty freaking good. I am not feeling that with DF. Only thing that can save DF now is the endgame. Lets see.

Are you serious? The questing in Waking Shores is awesome.

I expected at least a week before someone came along to troll about how good Shadowlands was. My mistake for having faith in the WoW community.

The Maw sucked. Covenants were boring and confusing.

Shadowlands was unironically good in many ways though. The salty bois just have salt in their veins and can’t see clearly.

Ah here it is. Shadowlands nostalgia already? Lul.

All the zones and especially The Maw were overpacked with mobs and you didn’t even meet all the covenants until after a lengthy questline. And then you had to know which one was best for your spec.

Both leveling and especially Covenants were heavily flawed.

I just started the 2nd zone (completed all the side quests in zone 1). So far I rate it 3/10, which is even lower than SL started.

The only positive thing I have to say so far is the zones are well designed, but the music is lacking.

Lol wut?

Nothing will ever be as bad as the oversaturated eyesore that was Bastion.

Not in story. Anyone that says this has never seen a good story if they think so. People can like elements of a story, but Shadowlands objectively failed at telling a cohesive narrative.

Are we already at the point where people say “SL wasn’t that bad”, after rejecting it for its entire course?

So far (in my opinion) Waking Shores was awesome, plains was a snooze fest, azure span is so so but im not done with it yet

As if there was a single good cohesive narrative since MOP. At least in Shadowlands I got to live my fantasy to have my vampire man cave.

I’m feeling the opposite: The launch event for SL is what pushed me away from WoW until DF.
DF’s launch was pretty fun, and the Evoker class is kinda what I’ve been craving in a caster. It also having a heal spec is a bonus for a heal sloot such as myself.

The leveling experience sucked. We had 2 zones where we did nothing but rescue angels and fairies. One that at least had a goal for you, though it felt odd for me to be working to create a sword I can’t even use as a druid. There was only one zone that had a real story that I wanted to continue just to find out what happened. That was the zone where the terrain was horrible without flight.

And the covenants, well, finished my leveling and had to look up which covenants has useful abilities and which were useless to me as a tank. Guess it’s gonna be that one.
