People are such simps for the smallest ilvl increase on items because “I NEED TO MIN/MAX FOR A +2 DUNGEON” that it would make more sense to make the difference between the quality not be ilvl but instead it adds things like “Increased movement speed” or give the qualities different appearances. The second that you attach player power to things like this, you make the lower quality basically an invaluable item. It would make sense if the community didn’t try to min/max at all levels of content. But we do, so attaching player power to something like this makes it impossible for this to work. Even if the difference in cost is vast.
This is a welcome change as crafting has be pushed to the wayside for several expansions, but I think this still ends up being a ploy to get users to want to buy things on the AH for potentially a lot of gold which means just another reason for people to buy WoW Tokens…
