Idk if it’s the best part of the game but I was bummed to hear it’s not going to be around in Dragonflight. Although it’s not a huge deal to me. They’re getting a lot of other things I care about, supposedly correct.

I didn’t think they were that bad, pretty easy to ignore.

not sad to see them go, but I don’t really care that they’re gone either.

RIP. We’ll never get to experience the excitement of recruiting dragons to send out on missions for turnips or whatever they’re doing at the moment.

It was decently well done in Legion.
Other than that, they’ve missed the mark.

I’m not a betting man, but I can read the odds. Odds are at best, it’s irrelevant. Worst case, it’s mandatory.

My views are woot woot! Good job Blizz :+1: keeping the fun content. To me, mission tables felt like the first chore in WoW, having to log in and check them every day.

Good. I never want to see a mission table again.

Mission tables were free gold. That is it.

Shadowlands mission table sucked. I’d rather them invest developer time into other features, than poorly conceived and balanced phone game content.

I’m hoping their main takeaway from shadowlands is to stop making so many small things vastly different just because “meaningful choices”

There was no reason to make covenant table followers so much drastically weaker than others (necro and nf were miles ahead of venthyr and kyrian)

There was no reason to lock secondary stats to covenant gear and conquest weapons (night fae conquest 1h having mastery, kyrian 1h having haste, necro campaign set being full vers, venthyr campain set having no vers at all)

There was no reason to make bis legendary drop sources so different between classes (dk/warlock locked behind rotation wboss on 4 weeks rotation, rogue behind rotation torgast, legendaries on raid bosses that took over a month to unlock the lfr wings vs legendaries from repeatable and spammable dungeons)

meh…

Not sure I would call them “best part of the game.” While, I don’t see a problem with mission tables they have been a let down since the beginning. When first announced, I expected them to be a system where you could sign up for quests when you had nothing to do. After signing up, you would be transported to a scenario where you would fight mobs, accomplish tasks, and earn rewards with your team of selected NPCs. Kind of like how the island scenarios were in BFA but with NPCs instead of other players.

The fact that the missions are just algorithms and you aren’t really involved is kind of boring.

talk about trying to spread a teaspoon of butter over 100 loafs of bread

The best mission table was the garrison one in WoD. No troops, just individuals that you recruited. Tons of options, you had to gear them up, and their specs and abilities were just like ours, so it was way more relatable.

The best ones were the ones you had to get through quests. I felt a lot more connected to the followers in my garrison than I do to the random Kyrians who all look the same and populated my current mission table.

I dont think i did them at all in all bfa + SLs

So oh wel

The Legion version was the best, IMO. Not as massive as the WoD one where you just had to revert to using an add-on to save you, but enough in terms of reputation tokens and artifact power that it was worth spending a few minutes on. I hate this current version but also feel so bogged down by the systems this expansion, I haven’t given it a real try.

With this whole mobile push, I feel like they’ll have to have some part of the game by on the phone? Who knows.

Good. We don’t need that crap mobile game system in WoW. If they want to bring them back, there’s a lot of good suggestions in here on how to make them actually good. I didn’t play that version but, even what Brewa said is more acceptable than whatever it is right now.
