So, I’m a bit late to the party, but like many people, I would like the Taivan mount.
I suspect that this achievement will go away like the SL meta-achievement with the Veilstrider title.
I feel reasonably confident in my ability to do everything, but I didn’t feel confident in my abilities early on to do a mythic dungeon. I know the mythic+ dungeons change per season, but I’m not sure if they’re the same thing.
If so, I suspect it’s too late to get this meta achievement?
For Mythic dungeons achievement you only need to complete all 8 Dragonflight dungeons (you don’t need to complete Dawn of the Infinites) on Mythic difficulty or higher.
Mythic 0 are much easier than M+ because there is no timer or affixes, so there is no additional pressure. But there are Mythic only mechanics of the dungeons introduced.
Before S4 you could just run M0 without any preparations and it wouldn’t feel more difficult than Heroic mode.
Now, I would suggest you to do research about the dungeons (read Adventure Guide or look up some guides on the Internet) and get some gear before jumping in (around 480-ish should be enough). Then just look for a group or form your own and do the dungeons.
It’s really not that scary.
Edit: you can get the gear by doing easy content like weeklies, LFR, crafting and boulions.
I doubt the reward will go away. They added an unarmoured version of the shadowlands pvp mount to its meta when they added taivan to dragonflight so it will probs stay when war within comes out
Thread is literally about M+, you brought up PvP mount saying it’s likely not going to be limited time. I brought up how the M+ mount was limited time because that’s what OP was asking about. Try to follow along.
I have been trying to get into Mythic (not Mythic+) dungeons but they don’t show up in the group finder. There is a tab for Mythic that shows the eight dungeons I need to complete, but they are greyed out and I can’t select them. I think my ilvl is high enough and I have set dungeon difficulty to Mythic. But I still can’t get in. What am I missing?
5a: If you selected “Find Group” the next screen you will see is a list of all the groups someone else has listed. You can refine your search at the top of the window by typing in “+0”
5b: If you selected “Start Group” there will be a drop down window of all of the DF dungeons, select one, title it appropriately, then select “List Group” then wait for people to apply.
6: Once you’ve got your group filled and you’ve got who you want, say hi, head to the dungeon, help summon people and go have fun.
EDIT: If you’re talking about doing M0 on the character you’re posting this on, you should hold off and maybe do some weeklies or some normals and some heroic work. 448 ILVL is a bit low for M0.
