Going from Shadowlands to this is gonna be so good, it’s so powerful and hopeful and amazing and epic. Very high off of hopium right now.
It’s also just nice to have the proper WoW theme back.

The theme reminds me of something, but I can’t put my finger on it… It’s been bugging me for a while.
Specifically, the fanfare that starts around 1:38 in this video:

I dunno how much I like it. It really feels all over the place to me and doesn’t seem to have much cohesion at all. It literally sounds like everyone is playing whatever they want and hoping it all sounds ok together.
I actually play with music on alot of the time, but this is probably one of my least favorite themes I’ve heard in the game.

I was iffy on it the first time I heard it. But it has grown on me. The part I specifically mentioned in my post above is great, though.
I think I like the optimism it projects the most. I haven’t looked into story spoilers for DF so far, but it’s a nice change of pace after the doom and gloom of the past couple expansions.

It’s ok…far from the best thought. 7/10. Legion and WOTLK did the best by far…nothing can stand up to those.

The very start of it reminds me of the main menu music for Dragon Age Origins so that made me giggle a bit.

Yeah, the final version will probably have Dragon Isles zone music added on so that it’s not just a 3 minute loop of music while you sit on the login screen.

There’s also some serious undertones of things like Game of Thrones and all that. I dunno. It bugs me too though for what it’s worth, but for different reasons.
On topic of the OP, I have a distinct dislike for this one because A Call To Arms is noticeably absent minus one brief moment it pops up and then it just fades again into this theme we have here. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. But it doesn’t feel very WoW inclined.

It was noticeably absent in Shadowlands as well. There’s a brief stint of it being there, but it’s longer than the one we have here.
BFA was the last time CTA was present really hard and it’s present throughout most of the login.
This expansion has that MoP feel, good
