Hey Blizzard, when will we have the Dragonflight Looking For Raid NPC? I am keen to collect specific mog colors from the LFR Versions of the Dragonflight raids.
Probably some time between 11.1.5 and 11.2.
Full legacy changes to allow soloing will be sometime in 12.x.

It’s one of those extras that’s usually in a mid expansion patch.

Which raid? Some of the bosses do have mechanics on normal that would block soloing, and those won’t be changed until 12.x.
Except for those bosses, it’s just going to be a numbers check, if you can kill it before it kills you.
You could probably solo Normal at least. Dunno when LFR NPC is coming for DF as they usually are in the game by now but Blizz seems to forget. Not much of a point though as Legacy Loot isn’t active for DF until we’re level 81, and in the meantime you could be wasting 10+ minutes getting a boss to 0 and all you get is one piece of loot.
The bigger question is when is legacy loot being applied to DF content.
Midnight most likely. It’s usually 2 expansions later.
That stopped being the case back in SL when BFA legacy loot was enabled. Now it’s pretty much whenever blizz feels like it. SL legacy was enabled during the TWW prepatch though.

Even though we are out of luck for the time being regarding LFR, for those that want Normal tier and don’t want to farm a non-legacy raid (It’s soloable by all classes up to Broodmother, but the loot drops suck because you get zero or one item instead of like 6 at a time.) Anyway, go to Forbidden reach and kill all the rares that pop up. You can do this indefinately. They drop tokens for Primalist Gear. Those tokens can be opened and then brought to the Catalyst east of Valrdakken and converted to Normal tier gear. If you want Heroic, there’s a step in between You have to upgrade the Primalist item one level with the Forgotten something-or-other item. When you do this and bring that upgraded Primalist item to the catalyst, it’ll then turn into Heroic.
