Me and my wife are trying to play dragonflight together my characters are post level 70 hers are pre level 70, and we can’t seem to not be phased from each other. I’ve tried level sinking from her end and from my end, the only way that I can play with her is to create a new character which I have too many already.
When you say “level sync”, do you mean Party Sync?
Because that’s what Party Sync is for, and it should work. At least, in Dragonflight, in open world content.
There are some exceptions, where it should work, but doesn’t, but the last time I got one in the open world was in Shadowlands.
When you are in a party, the Party Sync button is on the bottom right of your Quest Log.
You should both be in the same place when you try to use it.
If you both go to Valdrakken, and use theParty Sync button, what exactly happens?
There is an issue where once a character hits level 70 they are ‘removed’ from the ability to do chromie time, (even though they have said you can chromie up to 71 but it does this anyway) and it will phase a party member who hasn’t hit 70 yet. It’s annoying.. yes.. I wish it’d be addressed and .. I have found party syncing doesn’t always fix that issue. I think if enough players poke about it in bug forums it might be looked into but, That was my problem with myself and a friend when I hit level 70 On my rogue and they were still 68..
I cannot use the party sync feature with anyone that is below lvl 80. We have tried sync both them with me and me with them, nothing worked. This is an MMO that feature should be working like it did before TWW came out. I was able to sync with players below lvl 70 even though I as at max lvl. Now at lvl 80, party sync does not work. Bliz needs to fix this!
