Dragon Riding is an incredibly fun feature, i’ve never seen anything like this in any other MMO and the story line is amazing.
I have a son whose in his teens and I got him into Dragonflight, and although he himself is not in the LGBTQ community he has some friends who are and he respects that Blizzard is willing to showcase them in such a positive and fun way.
Aside from that, the new talent tree is great and I absolutely love how easy the game has become in terms of gearing and progression.
The people who are already saying the expansion is bad should most likely be ignored/reported as trolls, I just don’t see how anyone can have that take when this is the best expansion WoW has released in its’s history.
No it’s not.
It’s up there on the better end so far for sure. I love that they brought back profession specs and dragonriding is fun.
Other than that, I love borrowed power and complex systems.
Artifact weapons were the boobs apart from the AP grind; if it was shared between specs the system would have been more well-received.
Then again, I’m a PoE player so I’m used to more and more systems and complex things being added every 3 months, with new skills etc…
Absolutely not too early, it has more promise and content than any previous expansion.
These are the same systems that ruined old Blizzard expansions, so objectively speaking you’re wrong. Dragonflight is directly based on their new direction the best expansion to release.
Not really, Wrath objectively is dead. People can’t even find arenas or fill raids, it’s snoozefest content. Your nostalgia means nothing, the future is now and Dragonflight is top dog.
Nah if you look at the history of all the WoW expansions, Dragonflight does everything correctly. It’s easy to see why MANY consider it #1.
DF could be great. Honestly, Shadowlands could have been great too. An expansion is bristling with potential until it collapses into the state that it becomes. Legion’s possibility space collapsed into something great. Other expansions such as Battle for Azeroth didn’t.
Time will tell what happens. I would love for DF to become the expansion that many posters in GD imagine.
Dragonriding is awesome. Dragonflight still leaves much to be desired and as the other poster above said if you make up your mind so quick that’s a red flag.
Also, people who say “ignore the haters” are ones who love to only live in an echo chamber and have immature responses to other people who have criticism.
9.0, 9.2, and 9.2.7 were a lot of fun. The expansion was mostly ruined by 9.1 and SFO (both the ending of Zovaal’s story and the badly designed and out-of-place concept of the raid).
Bro, Shadowlands broke sales records. It was hugely hype at launch. This is Warlords of Draenor “we knew it was bad” all over again (newsflash bucko, WoD is considered ‘bad’ but it has the most popular/played Chromie Time and a set of killer raids).
Because it’s absolutely a troll to insinuate Dragonflight is a bad expansion, everything they’re doing so far shows that this is clearly one of their best projects yet and we need to support them.
Ok troll, go back under your bridge please. We knew from launch with Ripcord and Covenants that it was going to be bad, day 1 people hated the Maw and Torghast.
Maybe YOU will, there is more ocntent in this xpac than any other previous xpac.
