It’s not even close. I’m having so much fun. Dragon Riding is great, professions are the best they have ever been, quests are immersive, and I love the new reputation grind which is like covenants, but you get to level all of them instead of just one. I know a lot of players have posted their displeasure, but I just don’t get it. I’m really having more fun now than I ever did since I first started playing in 2007.

I agree! This is my favorite expansion since Mists of Pandaria so far.

Not my favourite yet but it’s in the running. This is the closest we’ve gotten to my personal peak of the game since MoP. I just hope Blizzard can keep up the pace content wise. So far so good and the first time I’ve genuinely enjoyed the game in 9 years.
After Shadowlands and being even more disappointed with wotlk classic I was ready to quit but Dragonflight’s reignited my passion for this game.

Agreed, I’m having a blast. The people that seem to not like it are the ones that mostly don’t raid or do m+ at all. I can see anyone getting bored if they arnt weaving in any group content at all and just burning through everything soloable. I have a hard time feeling bad for people that refuse to do group content in an MMO but expect to get their full moneys worth out of the game still.
Who knows what this looks like by the end but it’s the best start to an expansion for me in a very long time

I am enjoying it.
I def want dragon flying for all the other zones and expansions. Would be perfectly Ok to do quests in each expansion to enable it.
Also, looking forward to LFR to open up, get some decent gear and honestly consider normal raiding with… gasp… a guild!
My alt is an elemental/resto shaman, having a fun time.

Bfa was around the same i think
Its way better than shadowlands though.
Its a good expansion.
I wouldn’t say the BEST right now, but definitely up there with Legion and Wrath. I am having a lot of fun though.
A story section (I’m not spoiler) brought me to tears! Last time that happened… Aerith. I don’t need to say anymore.
I wish I could care about this expansion. I can’t even muster up the effort to criticize it anymore, I just don’t care. And before you ask, my sub runs out in January.
Hopefully 10.1 is more exciting.

It’s better than the last two, arguably 3, expansions but it’s not Blizzard’s best.
I wouldn’t put it on MoP’s level just yet, but it has potential if the next patch is a banger.
We just got off the worst expansions of all time, consecutively.
It’s different that’s for sure. Yet it’s more of the same thanks to the player mindset.
Bum rush the story even though it’s rich with cutscenes and information (Actual cutscenes not the fake FF visual novel kind).
Spam dungeons until you level.
Min/max your class and do Mythics/raids.
Some folks need to slow down and smell the pixels.

Best since MoP. Best in the modern era. Both for sure, imo.
We’ll have to see how the whole thing plays out start to finish before applying any permanent labels, but it’s already way up there.
