Dragonflight: Gladiator and Tier Sets

Went to check out the PvP elite sets on Beta today thought I’d share some info with people who don’t have the beta.

  • PvP sets are using a recolor of tier.
  • Every mode shares a color scheme.
  • Gladiator color scheme is really close to the Mythic color scheme it just lacks the detail.

Honestly, it’s really lazy of Blizzard ngl, when I say “every mode shares a color scheme” an example of this is all LFR sets are green, all Normal sets are pink, all heroic sets are blue, all PvP elite sets are firey orange/red.

For those curious, here are the elite PvP sets (fyi: rogue and DK aren’t out yet):

EDIT: Added DK

Warrior:

Paladin:

Warlock:

Priest:

Hunter:

Shaman:

Mage:

Monk:

Druid:

Demon Hunter:

Evoker:

Death Knight

Woah those elite sets look pretty cool. Especially the priest and mage. The monk and hunter ones look a little weird.

Some of them are really nice, the color schemes are pretty lazy though.

I mean, as someone who loves M+ I’d be over the moon just to have a couple recolors for M+.

Seems a bit ungrateful. PVP even gets a special weapon illusion every season while PVE gets ___________.

Not to mention your mounts almost always look better than the KSM mount too.

Name a single recent pvp wep illusion that looks decent.

They all look really samey.

That’s almost never a criticism I give to the tier sets… but jeez, I mean, you could have switched the names of the sets for Priest and Hunter, and I’d have never known. Both give equally little thought to class fantasy and seem interchangeable.

Every set is the same color scheme, not just the PvP sets.

I agree, however if you made the priest set say like a golden aura and with white cloth it would look more priestly.

The only problem with these sets is that they all share a common color scheme.

IDK I don’t pvp. Name a single recent M+ wep illusion that exists.

M+ should have more rewards, however that’s not the topic at hand; Let’s not derail please good sir.

they all look pretty good honestly.

Yeah. Could be lazy, but given a lot of transmog is supposed to be about prestige, it helps easily identify the level of content you’re doing.

It does also promote cross-class transmogging on limited pieces where the colors actually match instead of just looking like you made your transmog at the Booty Bay thrift store, which imo is chefs kiss.

Fair enough, but from a “have-not” just understand: at least you’re getting something.

I mean, that’s been gonna on for several XPacs now, not sure why you’re surprised.

Name a time I asked about m+.

Anyways another banger thread where the fridge hits the nail on the head.

Sets look good again. Legion was the last time I liked the look of any sets. They really got lazy. So, Ill take these!

The sets look good, I’m just sad we still don’t get unique PvP appearances anymore. Recolors are not unique.

I mean… PvP is harder than PvE so I’d wager it’s more deserving of an illusion and better mount

That’s hilarious bias given pvp players fall on their face in pve 9/10 times so.

Same could be said for pve players doing pvp but i mean cmon that’s hilarious.

I’ve not had a tough time getting KSM a single time this xpac, can’t say the same for Glad lol.

Playing against AI will ALWAYS be easier than playing against real people, and you’re being incredibly dishonest if you manage to disagree

Every class having the same colors is pretty boring and lame.
