Okay at this point I’m convinced they are just going out of their way to not show the complete new Draenei man’ari customisation, out of fear of backlash for lack of fel/corrupt customisations (green eyes aside).

Sweet, but honestly 10.2 cant come soon enough. Most guilds are already having a hard time getting people to raid at this point. Heck I even canceled our Heroic raid team until S3.

Nah, this feels on pace with targeting S2 to be the same length as S1.
Unless you’re saying that we should have had a slightly longer S1, which is not an unreasonable position.

the problem is that the catch up system loses it catch up value very quickly.
It seems to me that Dawn of the Infinites should be the current catch up system. It should be giving at least heroic level gear and the crests necessary to upgrade it. it should be generating mythic level vault items.
forbidden reach and zaralek caverns are already vestigial.

it’s supposed to! it’s not supposed to be a full end-game gearing path in and of itself! it’s for “catch-up”!
and in my mind, you are getting caught up to the minimum ilevels to the do the current raid on normal mode.
Dawn is, in effect, a 5 man raid. it drops 437 loot. it seems ridiculous that people look for 440 ilvl toons to get 437 gear.
getting start up primalist gear only gets you to 385. crafting needs sparks. no one is running caverns anymore.
alts have a very large gap to jump to get “caught up”.

We had forbidden reach catch up gear, then the plethora of gear from world quests, suffusion gear, and I don’t know the rest (never needed gear from these places as it is subpar ilvl). There were multiple ways to gear that didn’t require raiding or mythic plus. Furthermore, you can buy boe’s (not purples) at an extremely cheap price thanks the market saturation from raiders. You also have the revamped crafting system as well. Saying there was no way to gear with outdoor content isn’t being very truthful.
Their current content pacing is pretty fast, if they only do 3 tiers that is a big disappointment and we will end up with a year long drought like Wrath, MoP, and WoD.
