A lot of us have already stopped.
When an MMO says that it does not need solo players, it is basically saying that it does not need the majority of potential players.
Most of these activities do involve grouping up or dealing with other players trying to kill me. I want to be able to do nearly all world content (exceptions being World Bosses) without having to worry about other people.
Right now, the gear gap does seem lower than ever, and I hope this trend continues even after we get into each Season.
