DH should be able to fly using their wings cmon blizz idec if it looks bad i just want it thematically. Even the new class is getting a flight form before us

It’s because we don’t have hollow bones. The dragon people obviously will have hollow bones allowing them to get the power/weight ratio necessary for powered flight.
That’s also a good enough explanation as to why they’re not tanks. Birds can’t take a punch.

But wouldnt the fel energy that has morphed our bodies make our bones hollow thus enabling use to glide and fly. In fact as we are becoming higher level one could say being able to fly would be a sign for us gaining more mastery over our arts.

Flight for DH makes sense, if not real flight then AT LEAST “Dragonflight” with momentum and stuff. Not having this is just so bananas it makes me angry.

I can see y’all as gliders but flying don’t think that would happen then again the envoker class will have glide so demon hunters won’t be the only ones when rushing flags in battlegrounds. Hence the Blacksmith coming from the lumber Mill in arathi.

DHs are not going to get flight this xpack because Dracthyr/Evokers are a major selling feature of this xpack and Blizz will want to capitalize on this to make $$$. Logically should DHs be able to fly like the Dracthyr Soar ability? Sure. Warlocks should be able to Hulk-out like Gul’dan, but its just not in the cards atm.
If DHs keep bugging Blizz about it, maybe they can get it the way locks eventually got green fire, but it’ll probably take an expansion or three.
Flying is not what were bugging them about… sure its on the list, but not in the top 10 i assure you
I agree, there are way more important things to worry about than flight. Given that DHs were originally built with the artifact weapon in mind and have needed the bolt-on powers since, I’m curious/worried what Blizz will do to make it into a self-contained class.
if taurens don’t have racial mount, how do you expect demon hunters to fly with their demon wings? There really are a lot of things that Blizzard shouldn’t forget and it’s still with the same content problem since Vanilla.

Another example of being able to fly would be the Goblin racial rocket mount, but…

(also fangs of the father should be considered a special rogue mount too- while flying (with the black dragon wings), you wield the two daggers in your hands.)
as for DH, Blizz devs said they didnt have tech for flying at the time, but here we are now years later. It’s possible, it’s doable, and it’d be incredibly awesome. We know those wings are proper wings. Tech reduced them to being glorified goblin gliders, but we see Illidan fly all the time with them.
Just imagining a demon hunter with their warglaives out by their sides while flying at high speeds… too cool man. I don’t even play a Demon Hunter and it just needs to happen

give us more types of demons to consume
