Um they decreased SS by 5 percent. It was my main attack with a 2 1/2 second cast time most DH would kill me before I got it off or run behind me before the cast ended in order to make the spell fail.
Everyone complains about MM hunters but in general having one at least of every class to me they seem to be only average. They should have made SS 50 percent of targets health with as much that can go wrong trying to cast it with enemies running in circles around you during casting.
If you were dying by SS then you haven’t figured out how to get behind a hunter.

Objective feedback: Assassination doesn’t need nerfs in PVE or PVP currently. The spec operates with a smaller tool kit compared to Sub and Outlaw. And also a smaller tool kit compared to many other melee specs in the game.
Subjective feedback: The nerf to Assassination and Outlaw in PVP doesn’t make sense when there are other melee that do way more sustain damage, spread pressure and burst.
As for the MM PVP changes…Sniper shot needs to go down further another 15% to justify the other buffs IMVHO.

This is why class tunings happen in either early or mid Season prior to and after these e-Sport Tourneys. Not because the forums are on fire with pitchforks and torches asking for buffs or nerfs (which is the majority) it’s because of these e-Sport Tourneys. If you’ve followed the AWC and MDI schedules for the past few years, just about every time one of those Tourney’s are coming up or just ended, there’s a class tuning patch update. I’m guessing the comp for the MDI, Blizzard don’t want the same comps to be all VDH, which we know would happen if there wasn’t a nerf to VDH. Why would they nerf VDH now BEFORE the MDI? Hmmm…interesting. Because on LIVE, sure, players know that VDH’s are VERY GOOD for M+ and most ppl think “Cool, VDH tank in queue, good to go!” because they bring the goods with their tanking utility. I prefer BDK’s and VDH’s mostly as tanks in M+'s. They’re both very good. Plain and simple!
What actual data was pulled to further buff Destro even by micro adjustments of 3% and 5% increments? They’re already killing the Raid and M+ rankings. Sure, Demo is still pretty good for M+, no changes, which is understandable, but now Destro will still be the bread and butter for both M+ and Raid spec. Sure, there’s pretty good performing Demo Locks for both Raids and M+, but Destro Locks still own the DPS meters in Raids. Affliction Locks, I’m happy for ya’s. Definitely needed some buffs.
I love my Demo Lock for M+ and didn’t expect any changes because they’re still a A+Tier specs for M+, but Destro is already S+Tier for M+'s and now they’re going to be even beefier…kudos to the Destro Locks though, they’re pumpers for sure!
Additionally, those small buff changes for Fury Warriors (which is currently ranked 24th at D-Tier for M+) will have minimal effect bumping them up even close to C-Tier. How are both Arms and Fury near dead last in the DPS rankings (19th for Arms/24th for Fury) and they are melee classes whereas majority of ranged/magic classes/specs are high B- through S- Tiers in DPS rankings…
I totally understand that players can make low C/D-Tier class/specs to perform like B/A-Tier class/specs based on gearing to include class set pieces ect, however, the data remains and players have expressed their concerns within forums and/or video proof through videos, streams ect, just don’t base why classes/specs need tuning mainly because of WoW e-Sport Tournaments ending and the next one beginning but actually understand WHY some classes are performing better than others and why others are falling behind the DPS curve. I understand Blizzard just can’t blanket every class/spec to be S-/+Tier for both Raid and M+, however, people want to ENJOY playing their class/spec to be accepted in those types of content instead of being pushed aside since majority of players know “who’s hot and who’s not” as far as Tank, DPS and Healing Tier Ranking’s.

Only 1.4M?! As cloth, I’ve seen higher on crits. Seems the devs that are responsible for hunters–specifically MM–will only be happy once every BG/Arena has been turned into a no-scope from stealth CoD sniper match played at 100 yards away.
It’s 1 shot for 20 percent now 15 percent health that is easily defeated by interrupt or moving behind the hunter. 2 1/2 second cast. So ok dropped it to 15 percent like they did but make it insta cast with the cool down it already has. Warlocks are already winning VS hunters MM. They summon them to their BS summoning circle then nuke them with their overpowered spells. Nerf warlocks.

In BGs you have 20 players, you cant always los when you are in battle… Hunter invis and releases 1 shot and u are instantly 50% dead…
20 percent. Now 15 percent. I’m fairly well geared and have never dropped anyone in one shot with SS. I cast SS then rapid fire and then chakram and 1 or 2 other spells/attacks and then HOPEFULLY you’ll be at 50 percent health. Then I rotate again. and you’ll probably be healed to full health before I can wait the 10 seconds to go through all that BS.
Random BGs don’t matter at all. Organized pvp is what’s tuned around

i mained hunter for years. I want them to be good but making them 1 shot people is dumb with very little counter play
I would like hunter to get some buffs in PvE, but I guess they really want us to play something else.
When i mained bm in s2 it was a struggle in keys because of raid wide damage quickly got us replaced at higher keys. not that it couldnt be done. my argument isnt that hunters need more damage though because their damage is great. need a boost to survival. in pve and pvp
Currently, unless they buff our defenses against rot damage, we need to do massive amounts of damage.

Dps should not need to wait, I have seen tanks get aggro and enough threat immediately. It definitely is a tank skill issue.
