Dragonflight Class Tuning Incoming - June 4

      • Survival Hunter 4-set damage bonus increased to 80% (was 50%).

      • Primordial Wave’s additional Lightning Bolts now deal 175% of normal damage (was 150%). Not applied to PvP combat.
  • Warlock

Player versus Player

  • Items
    • Seal of Diurna’s Chosen will deal 50% reduced damage in PvP combat.
  • Demon Hunter
    • Havoc
      • All damage reduced by 4% in PvP combat.
      • Demonic Wards now reduces magic damage taken by 5% in PvP combat (was 10%).
  • Druid
    • Balance
      • Developers’ notes: We recently removed the PvP nerf for Frenzied Regeneration primarily to help Feral Druids, but Balance Druids got a windfall and became a little too powerful with this change. We’re pulling back on this buff specifically for Balance Druid only, so that their survivability is more in line with everyone else.
      • Frenzied Regeneration heals for 5% health every sec (was 8%) for Balance Druid in PvP combat.
      • Balance of All Things will now give the correct amount of critical strike chance in PvP combat when 2 talent points are invested into it.
    • Restoration
      • Wrath damage increased by 50% in PvP combat.
      • Starfire damage increased by 50% in PvP combat.
      • Moonfire damage increased by 80% in PvP combat.
  • Hunter
    • Marksmanship
      • Sniper Shot’s (PvP Talent) range increase reduced to 30% (was 40%).
      • Sniper Shot’s (PvP Talent) damage is no longer affected by Mastery: Sniper Training.

      • Judgment damage increased by 30% in PvP combat.
      • Hammer of Wrath damage increased by 50% in PvP combat.
      • Holy Shock damage increased by 20% in PvP combat.

  • Priest
    • Mental Agility now reduces the mana cost of Mass Dispel, Purify, and Purify Disease by 25% in PvP combat (was 50%).
    • Holy
      • Holy Fire’s direct damage is now reduced by 20% in PvP combat.
      • The cooldown of Chastise is now reduced by 1 second per talent point from Voice of Harmony in PvP combat (was 2 seconds).

I dig it. Thanks, Kaivax!

Glad to see some tuning, disappointed to see that SPriest, Warlock, and Mage aren’t getting any adjustments. This continues to be a caster season.

LMAO @ no VDH nerfs, you know, kinda the most blatantly OP spec in M+ right now

oh my lord they’re actually serious

Were saved.

ty for addressing the absolute menace that was DH and boomkin

This is probably a dumb question, but do these general class tunings have any effect on MoP remix characters?

Please make sunfire, moonfire, wrath, and starfire cost no mana so that’s one less advantage of catweaving.

The PvP changes are quite questionable

finally something

Took long enough for you to buff survival

Not like nerfing VDH at this point would save S4 M+ or bring all the other tanks back.
Just let it burn, and some new tank will be meta in T-Dubs S1; we can all complain about that class next!

Can anyone explain to me why?

As a hunter i think this is good for the games health. Hunters have issues and need a rework but this is a good nerf. Would of been nice to get some kind of pvp defensive buff though…

Also some pve items are still bis in pvp…

warlocks went oom in arena

Well luckily DH was finally nerfed

I thought arena might be the culprit but… are they seriously re-placing their gateways so much?

good warlocks, ya. same with fear cost being nerfed because good warlocks would use it a lot and thus go oom

this is a common occurrence with warlock end of expac. their haste is so high so they’re casting way more spells than their mana bar can sustain. this is like the 3rd time in a row they’ve had mana issues end of expac lol

Warlocks need mana?

Too little and hilariously, unbelievably, extremely too late. No one cares anymore. Surv hunters quit weeks ago. MOST people quit weeks ago. People are playing mop or cata or TWW alpha/beta. You had to move MUCH faster than this for season 4 and you FAILED.

It’s incredibly clear to players that Blizzard punted on this season to work on other things. It was obviously week ONE the surv hunter tier was terrible. Why does it take 6 weeks to make a change?
