My GF wants to play Dracthyr in dragonflight but she hates the lizard form, Does anybody with beta know if we can turn off the lizard form and stay in the human form the full time or does it work like worgen?
Can we glyph to remove the form like on balance druids?
It’s like worgen unfortunately.
Most spells will automatically transform you into dragon form. There’s a couple that don’t.
But yeah you’ll be in dragon form in combat.
Mostly. The main difference being that you can set it to automatically turn you back as soon as you’re out of combat.
Ah dam yea all good i will tell her. She plays the Au Ra race in final fantasy and was thinking about playing wow in dragonflight after seeing the new class trailer. She doesnt like the dragon form. RIP
What is the point of playing a Dragon using a humanoid disguise? Why some people think all mmorpg races should be like human or elfs? Drakthyr are Dragons, a diferente race, not pretty elfs with horns and tails like those Au Ras.
If she don’t like lizards she should never even considered to play a Drakthyr since the beggining. Is like going to a rock concert without liking rock music. Makes zero sense.
Nah. They’re bad lizard experiments that can’t even fly— except in their starter zone and cinematics.

Oh, I wasn’t commenting for or against your overall point. Just clarifying what exactly they are. Because I’m old and bitter about not being able to fly like I watch myself and others do in the starter zone and cinematics.

I dont know she is used to playing pretty dragons as she plays one of final fantasy. I also think the dragon race is ugly in wow, but i dont care because the class doesnt look that fun to me anyway

Was trying to get her back into wow, she likes playing the new thing, played a monk when they came out and demon hunter when they came out.

Lots of people feel this way. I see more people in visage than dragon form running around out of combat.
Different people like different things.
Huh, thought it was changed to be a toggle where you’re permanently in one form or the other regardless of combat status at some point.
I think she was expecting to play a humanoid like Alexstrasza because she was on the cover. Alexstrasza looks alot like the dragon race in final fantasy that she plays
Nope. It was only changed so that you auto turn back into visage when combat ends. Any ability that requires dragon form changes you to dragon for the duration of combat.
*Alexstrasza. And that’s her mortal visage form.
She can play female human or void/blood male elf … they look the same .
we need to draw the line.
