Dragonflight = Buggy app - Remove possibility to have addon to start?

Hello Blizzard team,

I really appreciate the new UI being editable, however it generates way too many bugs due to the Interface which is not viable with addons anymore.

Every single time I get into an arena/dungeon instance i need to reload my interface 1 or twice ( i have a macro) as well as whenever i change a talent or open the Interface option menu / Keybinding, any of those actions would make the game buggy/crash and a popup will trigger saying that there too many error triggered from addon (they are all up to date). In the middle of arenas again bug occurs, my keybind are not responding I need to reload in the middle of the fight and its a wipe.

I would suggest that Blizzard completely remove the possibility to have addons.
Indeed, addons are not compatible with WoW Dragonflight since the addons and new UI enter in conflict all the times.
Moreover addons require at every new patches or extension / characters a few days of setup. if we don’t setup addons we are handicaped compared to other players who use addons. Some class have their specific addons (ex’ Druid healbot) if your addon is buggy more than others, then you just can’t follow other classes whose relative addons are not.

After a few years of Break, when I think about restarting WoW, it is like "am I motivated enough to setup addons for a few days? " because this is the price to pay in order no to be handicaped when playing this game.

I admit for a few times he mades me change my mind.

But are all of them updated for 10.0? You might be running the latest version, but if it hasn’t been updated since Legion, it’s probably going to break.

All this says is you don’t really know what you’re doing. I use a respectable mount of addons, and my UI setup for a new character is easily under 5 minutes at this point.

I am playing resto druid, not warlock.

If you are playing Rdruid then it means you leveraging a few or you haven"t stop playing for a long time like i did. Do you do both PvE and PvP ? using different addons for both of them. Heal Bot is the worst of all in term of Error generation but really necessary because the DefaultUI is not compatible at all with BiggerDebuff/ Blizzard Raid Frames - Bigger buf and Crash after a few seconds.

I am using about 10 addons… took me weeks to set them up after coming back a few years later.

Anyway, no addons at all would make things better and no crashing in the game.

Well, healbot is completely unnecessary to heal on a resto druid, mouseover macros work just fine (or at least they do for me in +20s).

Raidframe stuff is often best to have a full replacement if you want to mess with it, and Vuhdo is a good candidate (At the same time, I use full default raid frames, and have no issues with them)

Default UI, Weakauras, details, and bigwigs handle about 90% of my combat UI.

God not this again…

Odd, I don’t have any real issues with UI related errors. Sure in the early days when addons were still being updated. But I have no issues that result in me having to constantly reload my UI like you have.

So you want Blizz to remove addons just because you can’t get yours working? We serious rn?
