Dragoncats?

Before we knew about DF, there was endless speculation about what the next expac would be.

Then Blizzard released the Sunwarmed Feline mount, and ALLLLL the talk was about how the mounts are tied into expacs somehow. Is it about the Sun? Cats? Saberons will be the next Allied Race!!!

Just curious how there was so much talk about how people “KNEW” what was coming because of kitty mount … but instead, dragons.

OR ARE CAT DRAGONS CONFIRMED??!

eh… who knows?

It’d be interesting to see a cat dragon mock-up, but it’s not making sense in my brainy bits.

I wish. Been wanting Saberons as a playable Horde race for years now.

It’s called the Sun Warmed Feline, so that would imply sand.
Probably some sort of cat things in the Bronze Dragon area.
Domestic Cats are closely related to the African Sand Cat after all.

Dragons can, technically, take any form they want.

So if you want to be a cat dragon, it’s entirely in your power.

I would like to see more of this.

Instead of standing in one place performing the same bite and right claw attack over and over on the tank, what if they took on multiple forms and did something crazy like turn into lava and flow over the arena, or turn into gas and choke their opponents.

I’m talking incorporating some Second Edition Dungeons and Dragons metagaming levels of broken mechanics and creativity.

Remember, whem Malygos was crazy for 10,000 years he chose to take the form of a stick-bug like insect for most of that time because he liked it more than being a dragon. And he talked like this talked like this talked like this all the time all the time all the time.
(until that time he ate three netherdrakes and immediately became sane again, because that’s how dragons get mental health treatment, apparently)

It’s actually called the Sunwarmed Furline.

Toothless in the How to Train Your Dragon series was basically a cat with wings.

The face of Smaug in the old animated version of The Hobbit was very catlike (at least as I remember it, it’s been a while)

perhaps furl is some kind of a clue, like furling a sail. Rolling or folding something up.

If the Dracthyr can ever be druids… then we’d have dragon cats…

I’m not sure about dragoncats, but what about…

Or you know. Felines have fur. So like, furline. lol puns

Ermagherd! Ferlines!
