Can we get better in-game timers for things that players can and should do regularly. I mean, seriously, I have to have a wowhead page opened at all times so I know when the next event is. If I look in-game it is terrible.
How about implementing an in-game timer and/or announcement system that would let me know how long I have until the next event.
I must admit, Wowhead’s front page advertisers probably biggest winners from the current setup.
Someone will probably make a small footprint addon for tracking those things if they haven’t already. I’m not sure it’s something they want embedded by default in the UI.
I use this weakaura to track the countdown for dragonbane keep and the feast. It also tracks if each character completed certain weekly events. I turn off the renown and rares list so it doesn’t take up so much space, but you can customize what you want to show. I’m guessing there are also some dedicated timers, as well.

I was about to say I would love if there was a countdown for the primal storms, but looking at the Tamas WA page, it looks like the developer has added that in for testing, as well. It shows a countdown and if you completed one of each type of storm for the week.
