Is it time? Taming “lesser” dragons like protodrakes would be an excellent expansion feature for hunters.

Same here! I would love the option for some type of wyvern pet or lesser dragon! It would complete my longing of a sort of dragoon type playstyle. I miss that from FFXI many years ago.
I thought Wyverns were already tameable, as either Chimaera or Feathermanes?
I meant to refer to the dragon-like creatures called wyverns in ffxi. I would absolutely die from happiness for that kind of pet!
Wyverns (the WoW version) is part of the Feathermane family.
That family is a bit… weird. Gryphons, hippogriffs, larions, owl beasts (those owl-cat things from Legion), wingless hippogriff things from Bastion, and those… uh, I forgot the name… the beasts that we get as Hunter mounts.
And wyverns.
Weird pet family, man.
