Every PTR people beg for weekday raid testing, why are we not listening this time around?
Heres an idea, how about you didnt, or do a weekday testing period, or delay the release on an obviously very unstable buggy mess of a patch
At least this announcement didnt come out at 1am on a friday, ill give you that
Another sub 24 hour notice for PTR, with another weekend test ON Superbowl weekend is egregious. Why is the communication so poor? We test this for free and get nothing but silence or nothing burgers back from you guys.
Can we please get Weekday testing. The short notice and 3x weekend testing in a row is a huge struggle. Simply extending this current testing until next Friday would solve a lot of the headache every guild is experiencing right now.
Weekday testing please. I will be a good tester rat and submit all bug reports. Have a blessed day
Sub 24h notice again… Can we get weekday next week instead?
I appreciate the weekend testing because it gives my guild flexibility on times when we can test!
Please listen to your players instead of doing everything possible to try and kill your games. 24 hours notice in 2025 is insane.
Is there a reason we cannot get a reasonable time to prepare for PTR testing? Additionally, PTR weekday tested as been requested multiple times before. Can you please have at least 1 week of weekday PTR testing instead of only weekend PTR?
Less than 24 hours notice is crazy ngl… especially on Super Bowl weekend. Please do better.
As a raid leader, I would greatly appreciate advanced notice for these tests to organize the 20-30 players on my team interested in helping Blizzard ensure the raid is ready for launch. Furthermore, as a guild of players with scheduling constraints (I’m sure we are not alone here), we’d love weekday testing like we’ve had for every other raid tier of Classic so we can fold it into our regular raid nights. Thanks!
i like how every one of these posts are made by alts with less than 10 posts.
forget weekday testing, where’s the news on the new Elemental Rune dungeons?
I think it is rather that we are annoyed and want to make sure it’s known that people care about week day testing.
Its more about the lack of communication and the fact that those of us who test the most, are given less than a day to organize people to play through a buggy, unoptimized PTR where half the bugs we report don’t get fixed from one session to the next.
ANY communication about the new Rune dungeons or what their final plan with LFR Gear is would be Wonderful since they the avenues to obtain the gear would be revisited at a later date. With how everything else has panned out We will know how it will work at 1AM the day of Dragon Soul Release.
10/10 no notes
Couldn’t agree more! Weekday testing is so hard since I have a job. Weekend testing is the best!
My guild leader told me that if you were to drop PTR this weekend, that he would self immolate.
He’s killed a guild before, so I wouldn’t take this lightly
Not even a word on what alleged fixes have been done so we can confirm or test. I mean just flawless communication from beginning to end
I’m incredibly disappointed by this, the second time we’ve been given less than a 48 hour notice about a PTR. It’s brazen and disrespectful to the player base and their time. No one knows what to expect anymore; no one can make weekend plans if they want to stay competitive in this game. Isn’t the point of a PTR to test the changes and bug reporting? How can devs get meaningful feedback from the players if the players can’t schedule their time for PTR due to such short notice? It seems like a lose-lose for both parties. Please consider weekday PTR testing, as most raiders already schedule time around the time of weekly reset.
