No new inferno notes (expecting another homerun laziness with another 100-150% more hp and some % damage increase)
Nothing regarding how you will handle all of the LFR items either
At this rate I don’t think I might even make to even half p1 of mop.
Terrible. Uninspired. Lazy. Lack of atention to other paying customers that want atention to this and not the custom server that is clearly WAY less successful than this.
I would ask to do better but I already did the moment you ditched the last phase of wotlk when you opened sod.
This is how it has always been. Blizzard knows that most guilds raid on Tuesday through Thursday.
Therefore, putting the PTR up on the weekend allows more guilds to test it out without interfering with their raid schedule. Additionally, more people have more free time on the weekends than they do during the week.
To each and every one of you requesting weekday testing, I am going to share a well-known secret with you all.
Raid tests have always been conducted during the weekend, just like server resets and maintenance are on Tuesday mornings. This is because it is the most optimal time to get people to test the content. Since most people are off on Friday nights and both Saturday and Sunday, this schedule reaches a far wider range of people. Accept it, it is not going to change.
“Raid tests have always been conducted during the weekend, just like server resets and maintenance are on Tuesday mornings.” Is just not true, Firelands had a weekday Test session From TUESDAY October 15th to FRIDAY October 18th. It was also announced 6 days prior to going live…
One test, and Blizzard likely analyzed those numbers and compared them to weekend figures, realizing that the weekend reached a much larger audience and had a higher turnout.
Blizzard used to communicate with their community for over a decade and then all the finance people took a hammer to the teams and now we have a handful of overworked people trying to release content that clearly isn’t ready to go live.
I would like to say that many of us would appreciate weekday testing as it aligns with most of our schedules. Preferably with a longer notice to allow for organizing 25 boomers. The average age of the classic community is like 40 my guy. Please sir no more weekend testing.
Also, we wouldn’t mind more time until the release if it means for a better experience with more information on infernos and LFR.
ICC also had Weekday Testing from September 26-29 2023
Ulduar had testing that went through the weekend and weekdays from Friday December 9 through THURSDAY December 15 2022
It hasn’t ever been once or a one-off historically we have always gotten one weekday testing session WITH ample heads-up.
How about a list of the “fixes” instead of stealth fixing? This would be nice to know as testers because some bugs go unnoticed, and we want to know what’s intended vs unintended from previous rounds of PTR.
Beating a dead horse, but the 24-hour notices are just disrespectful to a community that thrives on planning for things in advance.
Beating another dead horse, but why don’t you release a weekday PTR for those that can’t test on the weekends?
Anyways… here’s my money and I’ll see you this weekend.
I think at this point, any longtime player in this “classic” iteration is well aware that we are the red-headed step child that has to accept whatever you as the company deign to afford us in a version of the game we are so obviously passionate about.
So thank you for letting us know where we stand. We’re just the in between of retail and SoD where development is fun and new and involved. Thank you for letting us know that we are the bare minimum of effort to get a product out the door that keeps our subscriptions active. And absolutely thank you for continuing to let us know yours is a product that doesn’t care about what we as a vocal and large part of the system are involved in and want to see prosper. Your feelings on this are seen and understood.
There was not documented open date for this session.

Blizz has had weekday PTR at least once per tier since Vanilla Naxx. That kinda seems like we shouldn’t accept them ignoring weekday PTR for only the 2nd time in most of Classic WoW history.
