Dragon soul and Siege of orgrimmar changes (undocumented)

  • [Dragon Soul]
    • Note: These changes to Dragon Soul currently only apply to the instance’s LFR and Heroic difficulties, not on Normal difficulty.
    • Only 5 [Twilight Assaulters] need to be killed before [Ultraxion] spawns, down from 15.
    • [Twilight Assault Drakes] during the [Warmaster Blackhorn] encounter now have less spawn delay after each wave.
    • [Hideous Amalgamations] now only need to absorb 1 [Corrupted Blood] to reach 9 stacks during the [Spine of Deathwing] encounter.
  • [Siege of Orgrimmar]
    • [Galakras]
    • no longer needs to be shot by two cannons to get him out of the sky

Amazing change!

SoO?? I guess I’m glad they’re keeping up with it, but after Remix … what’s left? They gave everything away, even Tusks.

And just to keep this message front and center, Firelands was broken with the Annv patch. My lv70, i400 chrs could easily 1-shot everything before this week… and now can’t kill anything.

Can we please get that fixed? At least until I can get the Seed Pouch toy. :slight_smile:

Mainly weapons are all that’s left now, since there was no Arsenal type items during Remix.

Also there was a bunch of SL raid changes according to Warcraft Wiki’s Undocumented Changes page for the patch. This and the removal of class restrictions on collecting old items is really good for mog hunting this patch.

It’s real, I’ve seen it for myself. Just weird that it’s not on Normal Dragon Soul as well, probably an oversight.

About time.

It’s real I did shot galakras down with only the first cannon on the first tower. I can’t confirm about DW as I don’t go there anymore.

i just noticed the nerf to teh algamations, this is great will make it a lot easier to farm now

Not everyone got the tusks from remix. I think they look awful on anything other than an orc. But hey, to each their own.

For context, I guess it should be clarified that pretty much everyone who wanted them got them during Remix.

I never even wanted/cared to have tusks and I got them in remix. Will I ever use them? No

I had no idea that existed, thank you for mentioning it.
I noticed the Dragon Soul changes last week and made a thread and no one responded so I thought maybe I was stupid and they had changed it awhile ago. Glad I’m not, it likely just got overlooked in new patch excitement hah.

Pretty sure Tusks have the lowest drop rate of anything in the game.

So if they’re giving it away for free (effectively), I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t just take it, to lay claim to something that’s otherwise next to impossible to get.

Takes all kinds, I guess…

Unnecessary change for the spine encounter.

Do people really fall off still?
