I don’t want to use my regular mount anymore. This is spectacularly fun. I am so happy you managed to design zones that were as fun to experience vertically as they are horizontally.

I think it’s great they added racing too so you have something to do over and over again that potentially never gets old. Just trying to beat your own or other people’s times.
well when it works. lol i dont see the dragonriding on my spell bar… no matter what i do… lol
Same…my only concern is that they stop this after expansion…

Did you complete the quest that unlocks it?
Also it’s the mount itself, not a spell. Look in your mount log for it.
It’s infinitely more fun than running laps around Oribos, that’s for sure. The new city is so pretty.
They should keep this feature going forward. Possibly replacing flying in most areas

I really enjoy it. But Ive also never minded the beginning start of expacs and having to use ground mounts.
Only thing I really miss is just hovering somewhere safely. Outside of that you can honestly get around much faster with dragon riding anyways.
Personally I think transmog is the greatest feature, but dragonriding is pretty fun too.
It’s great as a mage too cause I can just keep teleporting back to Valdrakken every time I want to go somewhere else. I can be basically anywhere on the Dragon Isles within about 2 minute regardless of where I am in the world.
do you mean once you mount up on the dragon riding mount, the bar with the abilities disappears? that was in the bug forum yesterday - apparently it’s to do with spec/talent load-out changes; some dude said he fixed it by fiddling around with the general skills menu, wherever that is.

Going back to the old kind of flying is such a downer after fully upgrading Dragonriding. Before the xpac came out it seemed like such a minor thing to hype but damn if it didn’t work well. Only problem is getting disconnected for moving too fast sometimes.
Honestly I didn’t think I’d like dragonriding as much as I do. I wouldn’t want it to fully replace flying, but it would be nice if you had the option of using both in older zones. I really hope this is expanded on and more mounts are able to dragonride in the future!
I agree and hope that if devs are reading General they ignore all negative feedback. Like ok give people regular flying if they want too but Dragonriding is so S-tier as a game mechanic it’s insane

I have mixed feelings… maybe because my tree is only half filled out. Getting from point to point on equal elevations feels like I have to fight with it quite a bit. And that’s not a good feeling. Hopefully it feels better with more talents unlocked.
Here’s what makes the big difference: 1 vigor per five seconds of thrill. I never run out, even gathering, ever.
I just wish there were more cosmetic options. I have this nagging feeling in the back of my head that it’s just not enough. I know the theme is dragons, but like… so many cool new looks for critters, and my ‘wyvern’ drake can’t look like a Slyvern or something.
