Finally got dragon riding yesterday and it is actually quite fun except for one thing the disconnecting at random times I can be flying along just fine no problem then all of a sudden stumble on a twig and disconnect.
I already posted in the tech support thread about this but wanted to ask is this high on the list of hotfixes because why sell dragon riding as a feature when we get disconnected from stepping on a twig.
I keep getting Disconnected from dragonRiding while trying to do The Taldraszus Tour race Tyrhold same place going up i keep getting DCed happened 5 times.
This was an issue in beta as well. I have noticed sometimes it won’t let me turn now when it is about to happen
I have the exact same issue as Keyastaron. It’s the last flying trial I have and it disconnects me every time. When the boost hits you up into the air and then you hit spacebar to re-engage it will disconnect me. Sometimes it’s at different rings but I have been unable to complete the trial because it will disconnect me every time. Very frustrating.
I was able to complete the Tyr course by not using spacebar to re-ingage flight. Instead I spammed boost to get my drake to fly again. Spacebar would disconnect every time after getting launched upwards and re-engaging.
I see almost all of my dragonriding disconnects happen as I take off. I hit space to start flying and fly right out of WoW.
I’ve been having a ton of disconnects, as well. All of them the moment I hit space bar to take off.
dont try and jump out of the vertical lifts you get throughout the course. i was dissconnecting when i would try and hit space and surge forward out of it. just let it fully lift you and dont surge forward until you have started the dive animation
I’m trying to do the advanced dragon riding races and jesus, so many disconnects whenever I teleport back or hit something super fast.
love that a month after release this still isn’t fixed or addressed
I’m still having this problem, use spacebar 2 times while dragonriding and dc.
Still having frequent disconnects during dragon riding. Started after the latest update.

I have the same issue, whenever I dive, on every character. I’m stuck in a disconnect loop currently with my hunter. Happened yesterday with my priest, I used the stuck character fix and that worked, I could log in.
I’ve done every “fix” and repair but a clean install at this point. It’s only been doing this since the patch and honestly, it drives me nuts. I don’t have that much play time and what little time I have, I’d like to enjoy.
Please fix

Three months into DF and this is STILL a thing.
I can’t even log back into my death knight now.
And still. Flew me out into deep ocean, forcing to rez at spirit healer. Fun way for Blizz to wase 600 gold. Because, well, fixing the game isn’t as important as microtransactions.
If you are getting dc from take off, try to use dragon ability Skyward Ascent from action bar instead of space. And avoid rapid double pressing that key.
The only time i dc is when i double tap space and hit a wall or something. kinda annoying, but doesn’t happen very often.
