Im having problems in roughly half of the dragonflight races Ive found so far (5 out of the 8 Walking Shores Tour requirements, for example) being unable to start the race.
Speaking to the NPC will put me in the correct position and start the timer, but I have the little pathing arrow/line pointing straight into the ground just below me and no visible rings in the spots theyre supposed to be. If I leave the starting position I time out of the race and get teleported back to the start.
Reloading UI, disabling mods, restarting game, changing my dragon at the Rostrum all have no effect.

Same issue on my Dracthyr Evoker. Works fine on all my alts. Is anyone having this issue on other races/classes?

Been unable to do probably 3/4 of the dragon racing WQs that have spawned since launch because of this bug.

Same, Evoker and can’t see advanced rings.
Same problem here with my hunter, it’s incredible that this still haven’t been address in any way.
Also having this issue on my hunter, but the advanced courses work. Had no problems on my druid though.
The first race course I tried in Dragonflight has no rings or checkpoints of any kind. Thought I must have been missing something. Obviously I’m not.
Posting because I have this issue as well, in-game ticket was no help. Some spawn rings like they should and others don’t. I have tried everything from their “try this” list - disabled add-ons, abandoned quest and reaccepted, made sure I wasn’t in a raid, reloaded UI. Would be nice to be able to complete the quests/achievements that require these at some point :\
I am having the same issues in Thald. All the races are having the issue. 70 war, so I dont think it is class specific thing. Kind of frustrating. Hope they will fix this soon.
Same here although mine just started this week. None of the races are working.
P.S. I am on the Steam Deck I hope that has nothing to do with it.
Just started having this issue with the reset of the World Quests; it’s not just one race it’s the entire map that has Dragon Races as a world quest. As said above it’s a flagship feature of the expansion and to be unable to complete any of the races should be a priority issue for them. I changed nothing from the previous day; no addons were updated or changes made to any setting. Hopefully there can be some acknowledgement of this and a solution will be forthcoming.

I cannot complete the races either. Please WOW address this issue! I love the races!!!
update: I deleted my time-rewinding emblems (dragon feature) and I was able to see the race tracks.

I mean not exactly the same, but like some of the rings are hidden immediately behind trees/are hard to get to or see, so they should definitely look at some of the ring placements for the races.

Try looking in your bag for the stopwatch quest item - I had one for each attempt in my bag. After deleting one, all were removed and the rings started showing up again.
