Dear Blizzard,
In Dragonflight, we had the little baby bronze dragonling that would allow us to choose which dragon we could mount for the skyraces. May we please have this little NPC back at all the dragonraces?
I personally find racing on the big protodrake in EVERY race annoying, and prefer the Wylderdrake for size and visual awareness of obstacles.
You can use any flying mount for the races, you just need to be in Skyriding and not Steady flying while on the mount you want to use.
Are you saying sit on the mount and then run the race? I am always in skyriding mode. I dismount, then target and subsequently speak to the NPC. At this point, I end up automatically put on my “well-fed” protodrake.
I guess I am very used to the system that I earned the “Isles Ace” title on and liked that little dragonling.
Ya, I sit in Skyriding on the mount I want to use and I’m always using that mount. Currently been doing the races on Swarmite Skyhunter mount.
