I don’t get it. I am on the platform I have tried the 3 people at podiums. Do not see Any request for items, or anyone asking for anything. I click on a category and look at the items, but it looks like someone selling an item not asking for one. I asked a few people hanging around, one said they couldn’t figure it out either. Which made me feel a bit better. But cannot find a straight forward Would you Make this item…nope.
I’m sorry, what are you trying to do?
I don’t think DF crafting has NPCs that submit orders, so if you want skill points there for whatever reason, you’ll have to do it the hard way.
- Are you trying to place a crafting order for some crafter to make a specific item for you? -OR-
- Are you trying to find an NPC “Patron Order” that you can craft for profession skill point and/or spec point?
For #1 you can only place public orders through the NPC (not the Auction House). For private orders you need to arrange that with the crafter in Trade Chat and then use the same NPC to place a personal order (rather than public order).
For #2, you need to go to a crafting station, then look at the tab that says “Patron Order” and filter it for recipies you already know, then look at whether it’s worth it to you to fulfill a Patron Order (some orders do not provide all mats, so there’s a cost to you for using your own; some orders won’t give you a skill point or a spec tree point, just acuity or w/e the crafting currency was in DF).
Zero patron orders. My crafting skill is 92. Zero orders. I guess the crating consortium daily/weekly quests are dead. Ugh!
Dragonflight never had Patron Orders; that’s a new thing for TWW. And with the majority of active players moving on to TWW, it makes sense that there’d be very little public engagement with the DF crafting system. You’ll have to solicit other players (or use your own alts) to send crafting orders to you if you’re looking to complete those weekly quests, but this was pretty much the case even back when DF was current.
That Qaccy said.
Today i saw a crafting work (was a rune) from DF at public orders. The 1st since TWW began.
I think that it is more convenient to overcome the missing points in the Darkmoon Fair.
Very few people will submit Dragon Isles crafting orders, they are legacy items only relevant for cosmetics, the teleport ring, and a few toys. Leveling that profession is going to use a lot of sparks from your own end, or just the darkmoon faire each month for 2 skill.
Did not know this. I will try to use my Alts. Thank you for the information.
DF crafting is basically dead. They removed Crests and Flightstones so Enchanted Runed Crests cannot be made. They did remove the Flightstone requirement on Season 3/4 Splinters, but also disabled combining them as well so it didn’t change anything. I have 17 Season 3 Splinters in my bank that can’t be used.
You can still get Season 1 Sparks in limited quantity, like 5 per character and Season 2 Sparks from Zarelek Caverns from weekly quests so its very slow.
Back in DF many of us used alts to send ourselves private orders for trivial items that took the fewest mats possible (bolts, cloth, shovels, etc) just so we could complete the weekly work order quests.
Even in DF I’d fill those quests with orders from alts. Way too troublesome otherwise.
Gl!
Using my alt worked. I can keep completing quest lines thank you for the advice.
