I have handy notes and tomtom addons. I have looked them over thoroughly, and I can’t find any more dragon glyphs.
Did I mention that I’m only ONE glyph away from filling the last riding talent?
I know what it means, but I “assumed” they would all reappear after today’s reset, but that doesn’t appear to be the case…at least I’m not seeing them on my map.
What am I doing wrong?
You can only collect each glyph once, they will never respawn because your meant to fly around and collect them all similar to FFXIV’s wind orbs.
Can you tell me on the achievement which one it is your missing? It states the location of it in achievement.
Thank you for mentioning that, it tells me I’ve only got 11/12 glyphs in the waking shores. However, I still don’t see anything on my map, and yet there was one area that looked like a place on my map where there might have been one, Obsidian Bulwark, but I climbed up where that was located, and there’s nothing there. So…a glitch maybe?
Sometimes it helps to see things for yourself.
Does your achievement say “Dragon glyph: Obsidian bulwark”? Its called “Waking shores: glyph hunter” achievement. Its most likely not in plain view or its very low, not high.
I use Rarity, Rare Scanner and ATT.
Not sure which one shows it to me, but I had no issues finding them.
Ok, found it! Thanks for all the help. It was on my map…but it was hidden under a treasure marker. Lol. Got the achievement now, and I can finally complete the talent tree.

The glyphs are a one-time per account thing. They will never respawn.
You missed one. With Handynotes:Dragonglyphs installed, start scrolling around your map looking for the glyph icon.
Alternative, find the achievement for gathering all the glyphs. In your case it will be missing one glyph to be complete. It should tell you the name of the glyph you’re missing. You can then look up the location on wowhead.
The Glyphs are grayed out for me. I am literally sitting under one, can see it, but I cannot collect it. I don’t have it yet per the achievement, does anyone know how to fix that? It seems to be all the glyphs I still haven’t collected…
Are you on an alt? Did your main already get them?
I found them all without any addons. I just cruised around herbing, skinning and fishing. When Flappy sounded off, I’d do a few circles.
For the last two, I looked at the achievements and they tell you roughly the region of the map the runes are located in by name.
Hmm. I’m not sure what’s going on there. You may have to put in a ticket for it. Try some of the others and see what happens.
It’s weird, they all are doing that for me all of a sudden…
Exit the game, delete your cache folder and try again. If that doesn’t work, try a full UI reset. And if that still doesn’t work… you’ll probably have to put in a ticket.
One thing that might help people having trouble but don’t want to use an addon:
Open the achievements panel and look under dragonriding, and it’s going to have a list of what you have collected and haven’t collected with the name of the area it’s found in.
It’s what I did, and I think it helped me learn more about the map and zones.
There’s a LOT of clutter on the map nowadays. Some of that is addons, but also the game. It would be nice to be able to hide things on the map.
Get Tomcat tours and make sure to turn it on in addon slot…
