So I have these dragons that can’t even fly? Just glide?
The more I think about all the reasons why this is dragon riding is terrible, the more exhausted I get. Scavenging for glyphs, running out of energy, needing an addon or external maps to find the glyphs, mandatory, annoying, and I can’t even chill flying around the map to check out the artwork and design.
What a joke. I’m glad I bought this game time from external sources. Blizz, I’m never coming back.
actually i have to get an addon to tell me where the glyphs I’m missing are I don’t even have all the azure span and theldrazus glyphs yet and some others newer ones

Just curious what exactly you think flying is? Do you think birds just kind of hover into the air spontaneously, or do you think maybe they do some flapping to gain altitude and then maybe glide a bit?
What do you mean? Birds just move through the air with mind powers, the flapping is just an animation loop they do.

I came here to say basically the same thing lol… Guess people thinkhow flying on normal mounts in prior expacs is how flying works everywhere.
What are you talking about? If you practice even a small amount you can retain 100% uptime on flight. Dragon Riding is amazing and one of the best additions to the game in years.

Not to mention old flying feels slow. I can zoom zoom everywhere.
WHat is there to explore? there’s nothing interesting out in the world and the writing and content just is so shallow
It is painful to fly anywhere without dragonriding now. Feels like swimming though soup comparitively.
I found an underwater dance club and a singles club that only allows four legs and two arms.
Thankfully I found a disguise.
Feel that need for speed when leveling alts in Old World Content. It’s painful. So painful.

I still enjoy old flying. But I like both versions.
You’ve played the game too long if you’ve forgotten what it means to explore out of curiosity, “I see something down there, let me go check it out” rather than to check off a pixel on a list of “pixels to pass over”.
