No it cant. It always dismounts when mining.

Did you upgrade the specialization for it?
Because I tell you for 100% certainty that you can. Currently doing it now as a miner on my big red boi without dismounting.

Ok well i dont have that yet, no.
I would max that first. Faster mining speed and of course… mining while mounted lol. THEN focus the other trees and branches.
Id love to, but im not getting the drops to learn things. RNG is RNG.
i play with a controller, any controller that can be emulated to be an xbox, ps5, etc controller should do just fine
plug er in, run consoleport as an addon and he should be able to configure it comfortably if he’s able to play on controller (saw it mentioned earlier in the thread and wanted to give what info i could)
I get quite a few from the titanforged/molten nodes.
The basic nodes pretty much never drop them.

As someone who in the past year went through a traumatic injury and have to use a wheelchair for mobility, I appreciate this post. I can’t “adapt” to stairs, no excuse, just reality.
Cdog has some bad karma coming his way for the tone deaf post. I believe karma will take care of some peoples attitude towards. Add in the inability to use capitol letters where appropriate and I give little credibility to his post. Knowing Blizzard’s track record with the forums, I will get a temp ban and Cdog will get a gold star and a months free game time (shocking that they had internal “issues”).

It is not our responsibility to come up with solutions, it is the game maker’s responsibility. And the reality is, there is a solution sitting there - it is called regular riding.
Also, not one person who has struggled with DR has ever asked Blizzard to remove the feature. They have only asked for regular flying to be added back in so that they can enjoy playing the game they love to play.
What amazes me is the fact that people are so intolerant and lack empathy for others within this community. I am not sure where that stems from, but it is clear that some did not take Blizzard’s social contract seriously.

Rebinding his keys won’t help if he can’t turn with his mouse.

Again, what everyone has failed to see here is… you don’t need the mouse to move the dragon. You can literally wasd the dragon, i just did it 5 seconds ago. So he can’t turn the camera with his mouse. Ok cool, then use wasd. What the issue is that people think they can’t do something, when really they can if they just put a little effort into the system. But because its “new” and scary, they can’t seem to do it.
Keyboard turning will W A S D you can use it with dragon riding. or simply rebind the right mouse click camera turn to the middle mouse button, literally huge value in that too. its 
not impossible
Get him some stronger meds to deal with the arthritic pain

Maybe they could bring back regular flying but at the slower speeds. This way you can progress in the content but not as fast as those with dragons.
All I can say is that for me, I have use of one hand and have arthritis and I have had to adapt to a lot in this game. It is hard for me but I can do it. It will differ from others though.
