Hi, I took a long break from the game since legion and just came back and have been working through the story quests for Dragnflight. Last week with time walking I took advantage of that to get better items and levels and now im 68-69 doing the story and the quests are green. Is this supposed to be like that? I thought I read that they normalized it for every zone with scaling.
If you are just starting the questline then yes maybe youll see green quests. Waking shores quests were designed for fresh 60s. i think the mobs scale to your level but idk if the quests and their rewards will scale
Thank you for responding, I was 68 and the targets were 62/63 , I thought they scaled too unless this is a bug. I remember reading / watching videos about levels being scaled and quests so this is weird.

If youve been gearing up in time walking, you are probably in better gear than the rewards offered anyway, just breeze through the lower level areas until you start getting to Valdrakken/ Emerald dream im sure itʻs mosly lvl 70 stuff there.
I agree, but it was just slow exp gains and yea I did get some nice items from time walking last week which did help me a lot. Thank you.
If you see the dreamsurge up (everything kinda gets a green tint, lots of lil green orbs under arches and in towers) theres is usually an XP buff attached to the zone - that might help
I see it, I was wondering about that then noticed I am getting higher exp in the zone since now the story has taken me into the Azure Dragon area. <3
Your first character through, the quests have set levels. Once your first character completes the campaign and unlocks adventure mode for the account, the quests will scale with you alts. (And they will have the option to skip around between zones.)
