I don’t have much issue getting Gold now, but the first few were a learning curve. I love them! So fast!
I grinded out and finished all races on gold in both their beginner and advanced variations before finishing bothered to hit level cap so that should say it all when it comes to how I feel about dragon races.
So fun. Next step is to participate in PvP races.
I will say I’m bummed that Tauren are so bad for racing though as their model can be hard to see past. About to have to buy some savory deviate delights or something.

Whirling surge needs it’s CD removed for the races. I want to go faster!
Whirling surge is dogwater. It’s better to surge forward three times in a row.
I finished all the advanced gold races earlier, definitely the best part of the expansion for me so far. Too bad I finished it so quickly, hopefully there’s more of them in the future.

Does the Wyderdrake’s small size help?
It helps a little.
The cliff side circuit advanced race forced me to use orb of sindorei so my model was even smaller.
I may also consider changing to a female model to be even smaller. The ideal body is like a female goblin gnome or Vulpera most likely.
I actually zoomed right in so I was first person for some of the races in the last zone because it was so hard to see.

Yeah the cliff side circuit advanced is absolutely the biggest offender.
As far as changing POV, I just thought first person would be limiting. Maybe I’ll try that.
There are the items that turn you into a gnome with no time limit.

I just cleared the waking shores all in gold first try. Hoping the others are more difficult. It is nice though, I wouldn’t mind if they were world quests from time to time
The advanced races are more challenging. Not super challenging but more challenging than basic for sure.

Pretty sure there are dragon riding WQs once you get renown high enough to unlock them.
