Draenor Leveling Tips

I personally find 90-100 to be the worst stretch of leveling in the game. All guides seem to point to using XP pots from the garrison and then flying to the treasure chest locations for quick easy leveling. But I do not have flying in Draenor.

I would normally que as a tank and spam dungeons but last time I remember it took me sooooo long to meet the minimum Ilvl requirement for draenor dungeons in the dungeon finder.

Can anyone recommend a efficient way to level 90-100(without flying), or even a way to get gear quick in draneor to meet the Ilvl requirements for the dungeon finder.

I appreciate the help!

If you can have a max lvl friend help you out then it’s a piece of cake.
1.- Go to Draenor up to the point when you build your Garrison
2.- Purchase the 10% exp potion sold inside, you can also buy the new exp potion in Boralus to stack the effect
3.- Fly around doing every Bonus Objective. In my case as Alliance I’d do all those bonus objectives from my starting zone Shadowmoon Valley then fly to Gorgrond to do the into quest chain that leads to creating our base.
4.- In Gorgrond do the same with all of its bonus Objectives + Kill those giant beasts that drop a quest item that u can turn in at your base.
5.- Repeat the process on the rest of the zones.
6.- Reach 100 between 1 to 2 hours.

I have 13 120s now so I know XD

I do not have flying in Draenor though.

That’s why I said you’ll need a lvl 120 friend with unlocked draenor flying

What are you doing tonight? Want to be my lvl 120 friend with flying? :joy:

Sure, I was about to suggest the same.
Add me and I’ll help you out!

Oddly enough, most of my alli toons I am leveling just hit the WoD section.

Frankly (with full looms and rested)…just doing the zone quests I level WAY TOO fast. Some came into WoD at 91-92, did…not even half the zone…and they already 96-97.

When lots of my horde alts hit WoD when leveling…I did not play them as much and just logged in every day to mine and herb the garrison. Easy XP when rested, all in a small location for fast / easy collecting and then you get to sell all the mats once done. :stuck_out_tongue: Takes longer yes…but you basically are not playing them. Lots of those Alts fot to WoD…leveled to unlock the mines. Mined until leveling enough to unlock the herb shack and level them both to level 2. Then I just cycled through them everyday…some didnt level and move on to Legion until like 104 lol

Don’t even bother with Draenor dungeons. They’re not worth the time it takes to do them.

The fastest way to level in WoD (without flying) is actually just to follow the quests. Pick up all the quests for each hub, complete the objectives, then turn them in all at once. If you hit a bonus objective, complete it while you’re there. Even without xp potions, you should hit 98 and be able to start Legion content by the time you finish your third zone.

For Alliance, I usually do Shadowmoon Valley > Spires of Arak > Talador > Nagrand (if necessary). For Horde Frostfire Ridge > Gorgrond > Talador > Nagrand (if necessary).

My biggest problems with Draenor questing has been leveling too fast to pick up more that a couple of useful crafting recipes and not getting gear from completing enough quests and drops to be well equipped for Legion.

I don’t use the XP pot but do use looms.

I skip the intro quests and still level out of the xpac within two zones.
