I am having the same problem and on 3 characters, 2 on one server and the other on another. I canāt see a pattern on why this is happening but there is nothing that can be done to fix. Itās very frustrating!

do you have too many active followers?
No, this happened on the first mission with only one follower. The mission seemed fine up to the point when it completes. I can use the space bar but I canāt click on the chest to complete the reward. The whole page is gray.

This happened to me as well - first mission with one follower. Canāt open the chest to complete the mission.

I have the exact same problem. I tried the Mission Table at Telaari Station as a workaround and itās not working either. Unable to click on the chest to complete the mission. This is the very first follower mission. Character is Keiying on Velen server.

Iāve had the same issue. Managed to get through the greyed out screen by hitting the space bar a couple of times. 
Same issue here. My very first mission is complete but the report is greyed out. Fresh reinstall. No addons.

Now itās January 2024. Mission Probable is still bugged. Your assigned follower, Olin Umberhide, completes āGronnlings Aboundā. But the quest completion screen is gray. You can pick up more followers, but you canāt assign them to missions.
Draenor doesnāt work without the Mission Table and you canāt pick up the next quest chain.
Possible issue: my horde alt is doing Draenor on Chromie time. Went and saw Chromie. turned off Chromie time. It made no difference and lost the Draenor dungeons. Saw Chromie again and turned Chromie time back on, regained Draenor dungeons.
I have Alliance characters who built garrisons in real time. Is that throwing things off? Reloading, etc does nothing.

Same problem , PLEASE fix it I wouldnāt play this game any more without garrisons.

Open a ticket. A Game Master can fix this.

I have the same identical problem. Iāve opened a ticket. No response yet. Hopefully this will be fixed.

To be fair, this issue is probably more complicated now, given the release of the War Within pre-patch.
That said, I have now ran two Horde characters up through WoD for leveling purposes, and both have never received any offer to start any of the table missions, or even the quest to get the first garrison follower. One was in their 50ās while trying, the other had no luck in their 30s.
Contrast this with uh, maybe 4 or 5 other characters leveled the month prior āpreā pre-patch, who had no issues with garrisons.
And to cover the basesā¦ yes, I tried logging out, leaving the garrison, leaving the zone, praying to Elune, and disabling all mods. The quest simply never appears, and Garrisons are now completely un-upgradable.

2024-07-29 - same issue. Canāt push the āDelegating on Draenorā quest, as the first mission table mission is completely greyed out.
Turn off your addons, complete the quest and turn them back on. Just worked for me.

Ahleahās fix worked for me as well on 7-31-2024. It seemed to me something with my addons was blocking the tutorial popups, as the window was dimmed correctly but no annotations.
