Hyez! Ve haff ze stoodliest uff pheeziks! All ze vimmen, zey melt!
Did you just say âgrope-ableâ?
Look what you did to him?! You made him pour a glass of water on his face and make it look like heâs crying!
actually i came from a showerâŠ
There are multiple ways I could process that.
but the major process is that you should know That i take showers that involve shampoo and soap.
such sinful and lewd thoughts! you must purge them!
Okay phew, I was really scared that you didnât wash yourself properly.
Did you think i took a shower and not use soap or somethin?!?
nah, i mean like petting a goat or something.
goats feel stiff, like theyâre all stringy tendons and muscle. but you squeeze a humanâs arm, and itâs squishy even if you got muscles.
i guess itâs dependent on what percentage of body fat a thing has, so i guess it depends on how cold argus was.
Hooved animals tend to be rigid because they tend to be prey species often. Theyâre tense and ready to go at all times. Humans evolved to be a lot more laid back by comparison. I imagine draenei would lean in the middle. Not 100% on edge by evolution, but also not completely soft.
So the horns are a ride: Antlers and such do have a layer of skin on them when theyâre growing in that ensures blood and nutrients make it to the antlers. Then the skin dies andâŠgets scrapped off against trees essentially. The fact that the horns remain blue says that the skin on the horns never dies, so theyâre constantly receiving nutrients and growing.
Whatâll throw you for a loop is that unlike horns in real life, draenei horns apparently regrow so that even if the horn is like, snapped in half, itâll grow back
idk, youâd think the color would be due to skin, but you can see ridges and very sharp points that indicate otherwise. then again, you also donât see any line separating the skin from the horn, like you do with animals irl.
also, itâs not just that the horns grow back, but draenei females actively style their horns, so theyâre much more malleable than what you typically think of with horns.
idk though. weâre assuming draenei are fleshy because of the tendrils and lack of fur, and the tail. it could be that draenei are less fleshy and more akin to scales or shark skin. the males on argus practiced jedâhin, which involves slamming their head crests together violently, and that would lead to intense bleeding if they were covered in soft flesh and blood vessels.
you look at archimonde in the cinematics from wc3, his head crest is the same color as his skin, and his skin looks somewhat leathery and rough compared to human skin. it could be that a draeneiâs skin is more comparable to, like i said, maybe shark skin or something, and then hardens further as it grows over the horn and forehead crest areas.
I think this topic calls for extensive hands-on investigation.
He said what?!?
Iâm willing to believe the scale thing, but only on the horns/crest area (including a female draeneiâs forehead) because itâs the only real part of the body thatâs rigid or textured like that.
Imagine saying goat squids are the best femalesâŠYIKES.
Chokes on that thought.
Itâs always Blood Elves. Does the idea that people donât find you attractive or âthe bestâ truly that insulting to your egos?
I donât find cartoon characters to be attractive one way or another, but if my wife had a Draenei tail.
you know, i actually think it could be the shark skin thing, or something similar, a more rugged and leathery type of skin than humans have anywhere.
or the horns could just be made entirely of keratin, rather than any bone. no reason the keratin couldnât just be the same color as their skin. the ivory of a rhinoâs horn can look pretty grey like the rest of it too, i guess.
