Draenei or Lightforged?

Despite being almost the same, which one do you like more? I personally feel myself more attracted at the regular. Their culture in Draenor and the fact that they could fit better into other classes like mage while keeping a faith makes them more appealing. Lightforged, of course, can fit into other classes and we have seen them being Hunters (light hunters), it looks as if they revolved entirely about the light.

For me, even for Paladins, regular Draenei have my vote, as they look to fit into other colors as well, especially blue and purple.

LfD if you plan to play dps, draenei otherwise, though.

The regular has more options. The lightforged have a niche look. With regular you have a black skin tone and cosplay as eredar! You have more creative choices with the regular for xmogs.

I know. It would have been just been better as customization for dranei. Same for highmountain. They also don’t have all classes dranei do. I wanted a lightforged monk. That wasn’t an option.

Then again lightforged dks… that looks pretty weird. There aren’t much light-death transmogs for examples. But maybe using some paladin look alike sets would be cool. I have yet to level mine.

I have one of each, I like both of them. I don’t really have a favourite.

I prefer regular Draenei, have both but been a fan or Draenei since I saw Maraad in the BC trailer. Looking forward to Shadowlands and getting more customization options for them to, hell yes for longer tails :smiley:

Lightforged Draenei, of course.

  • You are more attuned to the Naaru’s Light and a champion of your people.
  • Males get better beards, females have better horns and hairstyles.
  • They have better voice acting.
  • The most ironic choice for a Death Knight.
  • Ancient and awesome, the true bane of Demons.

I was always a rather hardcore Horde fan, that said I have always liked how the Draenei looked and even secretly made a baby Draenei hunter just so I could see them up close, the female death throws were so funny!

I do not like the males however, too clunky for me. The girls look simply charming and I love the Indian tone they are themed with.

When the Allied races were announced I couldn’t hold myself back any longer and I rolled a LF Pally, and I really enjoyed leveling her.

I don’t pay too much attention to the differences, I rolled LF for the armor, which actually looks awful imo, so don’t do it for that :rofl: and they were new, and I’m a sucker for the new new. :heart_eyes:

The original are much more exciting to play as to me. They have so much more potential in range of character than the lightforged and also their customization options make them more appealing.

Both are 10/10 choices imo but I pref LF as their golden eyes and tattoos mesh better with the mogs I’m going for.

Reg Draenei have some really good meshes also!
