Those are probably the two that would survive better than most. Zandalari and KT might also be good survivors of the rituals.
Because infusing Orcs with Fel worked out so well the last time.

If they can find a way to create new ones lore wise, then any race could become 1

No other races make sense. You could maybe stretch the idea to velfs and nightborne but it won’t go further than that really.
The only race that could be given dh within the current lore is void elves.
… and murlocs if for some reason they ever become playable. Apparently thats a thing they can do.

I’m fairly outnumbered in my one Demon war against them as it is!
Should have been options from the start considering there were both fel orcs and eredar as members of the Illidari.

I know people love to ask for things but the day I received a random chaos bolt from a shadowmelded warlock I knew it was a mistake.

No more DHs until their tanking gets nerfed lol.
But ideally, Draenei or Orc would be my first choices.
They’ve got the most beef with demons. More than the elves, even.

Orc and Draenei make the most sense.
Other races… not so much. So I think in all honesty that should be as far as Demon Hunters expand, and other races like Goblins, Gnomes etc should get classes like the Tinker that can fill the same gameplay roles but are more thematic with their specific races.
Just teach a man’ari to flip about and you’re there. They even come with their very own demonic soul, no need to borrow someone else’s or poke out their eyes.
With the right story every race can work. Draenei (because of the Man’ari skins) and Orcs are the only ones that wouldn’t need much of a story to work though, especially if they add Fel Orc customizations one day.
