Hi guys, I feel like there was an oversight with the way transmog works for Dragon form and Visage form.
Currently, when you hide a piece of armor (Shoulders/belt) in either form, it also hides it on the opposite form as well, some transmogs look better in Visage form, than they do in the Dracthyr form, and vice versa.
Please consider allowing us to mog both forms individually, or at minimum make it so you can hide certain pieces on either form without effecting the other.
Yep. It’s a massive pain to get a transmog that looks good in both forms. I end up just having to pick one to make look good, or basically just hide the pieces that show up in Dracthyr form and settle on a mediocre visage transmog due to that.
No they won’t. Most of the skills are dragon-related…as in attached to dragon form animations. A flying void elf in the air breathing fire is just silly and stupid looking. It’s like asking to fight as a human while being a worgen, you can’t get the best of both worlds.
While you’re at it Blizzard, let dragon form use all transmogs, or you better be adding new Dracthyr customization every other week to keep them interesting to customize, looking cool is half this game.
The amount of stuff I could make with all the Dracthyr dragon customization and all the transmogs in this game is mouth watering, do the smart thing.
Not buying it. Dracthyr armor is already coded to disappear when putting on gear in that slot, it’s as simple as that, I can live without a back slot if Blizz isn’t creative enough to work through that.
The rest of the pieces have no excuse, just because it wasn’t done doesn’t mean it can’t be done boomer.
They probably won’t do that, because visage form is your fake form…a “friendly form”, but still an illusion. Your true form is a dragon always. Honestly sounds like evoker ain’t for you and that’s ok. In the same way I don’t play worgens, because I dont like how cringe the wrewolf form looks without having actual-werewolf behavior, walking around casting spells as a big bad werewolf…not for me.
because it would have serious clipping and bugging issues. the solution is to make it invisible.
It has nothing to do whether it is for me or not, it is just lazy lately with armor limitations on races, and stop white knighting, please.
They did the same with the mechagnomes, and now they went full mode and made the dracthyr. If they really wish, they can let the dracthyr wear armour, they just do not want to spend time modifying the armour to fit the race.
Because their model has bigger sized features like hands, and claws. Most gloves alone would clip their claws through gloves, looking very silly. And of course wings…wings+capes do NOT look good. Now imagine head pieces and how they already have huge clipping issues with elf races with long ears or long eyelashes…and how dracthyr head will clip through most of them. Its very bad.
I don’t know how clipping issues could possibly occur on customization armor that is
An optional choice
Is coded to disappear when an armor slot is used on top of it.
No back slot is understandable, everything else is easily implemented with a bit of work, dragon form already has 90% of all player animations that are available.
Blizz even works with NPC models for races we can’t even play and have the ability to wear player armor, I see this as more of a question of when than if.
