Dracthyrs odd bodyshape

The Drakthyr players want.

The Drakthyr players would be OK with.

The Drakthyr we got.

I try to advocate for choice but you are obsessed with denying me my right to dragon boobs. It could be a system of three bodytypes, Male, Androgynous (Current model), Female (breasts included). But, no, people have to have a hang-up on one particular part and for that we have to go full scorched Earth and be forced into this zero-sum game where someone is going to end up unhappy and disappointed.

And we care why?

All he does is moan about the game. It amazes me the people who complain about and make videos about the game never stop… oh wait if they did… they’d have to get a real job to pay bills

Since people are more likely to complain about something they dislike than to praise something they like, this is not a good metric to judge by.

What is clear is that opinions are split.

At this point, there is nothing really to do but wait to see what body options are in the alpha, then we will have a better idea of what direction Blizz is taking them.

I don’t think they are ready yet. Not even close. There is also over hundred animations to add. They have to look good at the end from all facets including the gear they wear.

Dracthyr form has almost no gear displayed. IIRC it was said only head, belt and tabard could be displayed in Dracthyr form. Regular transmog rules for visage form.

I plan to leave mine naked in Dracthyr form.

I just used his video as an example of peoples opinions on this, I did say look at the comments of the video mainly. All of them were negative towards the body shape, I only said Bellular doesn’t like them either incase someone questions if he likes them or not considering the comments of that video and the fact it’s his video.

If blizzard could release that blog post that was mentioned half a month ago now, that’d be great.

Which blog? I’m curious.

Players saying stuff like this simply don’t know what they’re talking about. While the Dracthyr are slender, they’re also very tall. Some estimate them possibly being even taller than Tauren. Add on their wings and tail, and you have a very impressive-looking creature that definitely gives the impression of a powerful dragon.

So you’re still getting the T-rex, just a slimmer, faster version.

Ion mentioned in one of the interviews that they were putting together an in depth blog post of Dracthyr customisation options. At this rate, we might get it before Dragonflight releases. :stuck_out_tongue:

The pessimist in me sees the blandness in dracthyr as a planned sabotage so Blizz can make an excuse claiming the players don’t really know what they want/etc.

Can we at least give the Dracthyrs race a non-humanoid form?

It is fine that Dracthyrs race is a product of experiment, but it would be nice if it can be like other “real dragons” that have wings and four claws, instead of just being a dragon/lizard-lookin humanoid…

If it’s slimmer and faster it’s not much of a T-Rex now is it? You can’t gaslight people into thinking they’re getting what they want when it’s obvious they aren’t, and Blizz can’t afford to keep playing games with their playerbase.

Is this some different model than the one we were provided with at the launch? Because if not…

The draconians we were presented with are a flop. Some people like them, some people will like them whatever they look like, but a lot of people saw it and either audibly laughed or groaned at the extreme levels of failure.

The ones we got are so bad as to be memeworthy.
So cope, seethe, mald… do what you must.

Because playing as Prickle from Gumby is not the draconian class fantasy.
