Might be cool to have a white/prismatic transformation too, mimicking the way our spells come out white before focussing into whichever flight’s magic we’re tapping into.
Red magic for Visage implies dracthyr get the ability from the red dragonflight, which lol. Pretty sure all the flights can do that.
I’d also like the ability to glyph the prismatic appearance of essence burst, dragon rage and fury of the aspects to stay the color of a chosen flight.
In case you haven’t noticed they have not done glyphs since Legion and what few there were in BFA/SL were model copy pastes for crap like shaman ghost wolf or druid cheetah.
They haven’t even bothered to finish Warlock’s soulfire animation to not be a placeholder vanilla mage pyroblast animation.
What makes you think they will do recolors or new animations?
need more input on this topic so it makes it into 10.0.5 and we are not stuck with a full patch cycle or worse, an expansion with no glyph options
Considering the last few expansions have had mostly cosmetic updates for glyphs (SL alone had raven form x2, moth form x2, stag form x2, mushroom glyph, and ghost wolf form x2), I would see it as very plausible that they would add non-combat glyphs for things like the spell effect of Visage, Soar, etc.
Considering the mushroom glyph does change the spell animation, one could argue that as recently as a few months ago, they added a glyph that changes the look of combat spells. The counter-argument would be that players are already familiar with the old effect, but really, new players still have to learn two spell effects for the same spell, and that ain’t nothing.
Biggest thing I want from Glyphs is to make all your spells the color of your chosen Dragon Flight!

Nothing does. The forums are largely an echo chamber that never succeeds in getting meaningful results as far as tuning/things implemented.
But it do be nice to have fellow players agree that things on your ‘I want this but it will never happen’ list would be sick.

Spent the entire early beta cycle chain reporting the demonhunter talent Inner Demon was using the female metamorphosis model for male players as a bug. Guess what went live unchanged.
Reported Soulfire lacking an animation all beta long. Guess what went live.
Reported how awful the supposedly mobile class having 95% of spells be stationary cast or channel spells, or how Hover interrupts casts, or how disintegrate’s upfront essence cost is stupid.
Guess what went live.
All of these done through the beta ingame reporter.
They just don’t care. They won’t until the Riot MMO comes out and starts to threaten them because they take their playerbase for granted.

Exactly, these are the same people that want the range increased… Both of which will never happen. You are a mid range caster dragon, love it or leave it.
You don’t speak for the “majority”… Dragons are the theme, dracthyr is the race, and visage is an ILLUSION.

I like the spell color change ideas, the rest are meh or no thanks. How do you Tail Swipe without a tail? With that said I hope we get glyphs, it’d be pretty stupid and messed up if we didn’t.
