as long as the community keeps making noise about it. eventually they’ll give in and let dracthyr mog every slot, instead of this lazy way they’ve chosen to do it
For an astounding routine in mental gymnastics! Bravo!
I don’t care much for the visage forms but I do pop into them time to time to peek at my mog. One of the reasons I don’t care for druid is more than half the time you aren’t in your humanoid form so don’t see your mog, however with that said, at least Dracthyr are dragon like, so that will get a semi free pass in my head…for now.
That’s the key point. It will wear thin for everyone, eventually. Aside from those weirdos who prefer to play as scaled Elves. It’s simply a matter of everyone reaching their personal limit.
Right! You can only change your shoulders so many times to a mog that looks ok with your Dracthyr, after awhile even if you get ones you farm, it will get old. I change my mogs a lot on most of my characters, except my panda here, I have yet to find a mog I like better than this for him…lol.
Oh, nice the new tier chestpiece dropped! … and I can’t show it unless I look like a Blood Elf on my dragon race/class.
I think just in general that they need to allow for Tmog for both forms. I quite like the default armor I gave my Dracthyr in creation. I’d love if that was my “Look” for my Dracthyr form, and having a completely different set for my “Visage” form.
It’s a bit jarring to see a belt or something not work with the armor I picked in customization. It’s also a bit jarring to also switch to visage form only to find your belt or shoulders no longer match.
This may be why they removed the gold cost from the barber. But I can’t imagine it being that hard to implement. Granted as others pointed out I doubt a lot of old gear would look right or scale well on a Dracthyr model. Anyone remember the Worgen. Some of the helms for worgen just looked goofy lol.
Would boots (kinda like how the Dranei/Tauren have them) and gloves be that bad to add to mogging?
No matter how hard you try, there just aren’t enough tints to match with all the mail shoulders available to us. It’s always going to be a struggle until they add more options. They do need to add the ability to transmog them individually, but I don’t that that would be as great a concern if we could actually share a good looking transmog across both forms, uncompromised.
Dragon form need transmog. That’s my 100% honest opinion.
I want to wear the armor in which I’ve mog farmed previously rather than wear preset armors linked to the barber. And it’s so annoying that the colors of the armor in said barber don’t often go with a lot of transmog shoulders or belts.
I don’t know why this was ever greenlit, dracthyr need transmog on both forms. Nothing can change my mind about this. It seems so lazy to me that they didn’t even bother with this.
But my honest biggest annoyance with it, that I’m shocked hasn’t been brought up by anyone besides myself, is that I cannot wear pants. It’s funny saying that out loud, but it’s an actual annoyance of mine and I don’t like it one bit.
Wondering if there are plans to provide more mog options in the Barber shop.
The current Breatplates, legs etc are nice but much like DH’s the options are slim currently.
Either way, I think it is a valid question or suggestion for the team to explore.
It’s not even lazy (ostensibly) - it’s a philosophical choice. Morgan Day outright said that they can do this, but choose not to do so.
That is the stupidest choice for a new race I’ve probably ever heard.
Like, why would they go out of their way to make it the way it is. Did they not know somehow that people would be unhappy with this?
I didn’t know that they legitimately chose to do this.
The logic was that you should be able to see that it’s a dragon, and you can only notice that if they’re nude.
As if the horns, tail, size, and giant wings don’t give that away. (???)
While simultaneously still allowing us to equip predetermined armour anyway. (???)
Lol like we very clearly see that it’s a dragon with transmog though, like WHAT.
That literally throws my mind in a loop. Even with transmog from head to toe, we can very still clearly see that it’s a dragon.
They need to go back on this decision. This literally doesn’t make any sense.
Every single dracthyr I’ve seen look similar to me and it’s because of the armor or lack thereof. They really wanted to go all in on the customization of the dracthyr and then it falls hard when their’s no transmog which would open the door to even more customization and uniqueness.
That decision is just simply not logical.
And say what you will about mail, but there are sets out there that look like anything you want. Plate, leather, cloth? It has you covered. There could be such a variety at play here. But we don’t get to see any of it.
I feel if they are going to limit what can be displayed on the Dracthyr, then at least add more armor options and more areas for armor at the barber shop. One thing that annoys me is the fact you can armor them until the legs then you have this huge gap from the upper thigh to the ankle and it just looks odd.
At the very least, the Evoker tier needs to unlock on the barbershop.
Blizz mentality -
“SO BE IT!!! Wish granted!!
“poof” bracer armor added… bracer transmog added to Dracthyr.
NEVER LET IT BE SAID THAT WE DON’T LISTEN TO THE PLAYERS” (magnanimous background music)
/me cheers you on in Moonkin
